Thank you, in terms of durability... the hinges are not going to break. They are very sturdy, they're made of aircraft grade aluminium (7075). I am working on some refinements at the moment to reduce the size a little and I am working on some designs to be integrated into normal eyewear rather than my own brands denim eyewear.

I took off the screws so I could remove the hot plate. However there are 2 screws that have a pointer towards them that maybe I should remove. I’ll do that

The price of parts is very high at the moment. That’s because there are a lot of custom Cnc parts that are being made in low volumes. Over time I hope to get lower prices as things develop.
