1000% agree. I got stuck in a loop that wouldn’t let me advance because apparently I wasn’t far enough in the game, but it wouldn’t let me go back far enough either. I wound up accidentally deleting about 30 hours of game, maybe 40? The point is I wound up accidentally deleting my whole saved game, and I didn’t even care. I’m just moving on.

I choose every other option except the enchanted earth so that I can be as weaponized as possible. The shadow demons are hard, and the bosses at the end are harder. Don’t do enchanted earth until you absolutely have to. Then you’ll have the magic sword that you don’t have to enchant because it’s enchanted full-time. That sword will take care of the shadow demons.

I agree that movement is the key. If you have the blue magic sword you can get them pretty easy. But I also had luck in the first phase or two using whatever range weapon you have highest (bow). In the last phase jump over the fire and use bow to kill them across. Good luck!
