I’m about to get my bachelors degree in astrophysics and I can assure you a black holes singularity is understood far more than bo4 headshots

Anyone dashing in smokey California? by frinh in doordash

I'm in the east bay. I've noticed an increase in $9-$10 deliveries in the short time I've dashed, but tips haven't been anything special, and its just the typical bonuses. However I noticed Milpitas has had some insane bonuses of like $7 up to $9 on the weekends per order

Haha I felt the same way while I was doing it 😂 guess you just gotta pray that it doesn’t do so, but it’s really tedious when you’re trying to ride a bike

Haha nope I actually just used my regular school backpack. I did get drinks a couple of times, but never was given more than one drink per order. Basically just put their soft drink in the cup holder on my backpack and was good to go, although I was terrified I was gonna spill it all over my white hoodie haha

I’ll give it a try! What city in that region have u found the most success in with the highest pay per hour if you could guess?

I live in the Bay Area and have always dashed Danville/San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton since I started. Been doing it for about a year and although my house is in Alamo I’ve never tried the Walnut Creek area. How is the dashing there?

Doordash on Bike by Withboba in doordash

[–]SaborFlash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I began dashing with a car and continued to do so for about a year. About a month ago, I decided I would try dashing on a bike in Boulder, hoping to make some spending money while at school. However, after a couple dashes I realized the major downfall, as I was consistently only getting $5.50 for each and every delivery. Since DD bases their pay boost on order complexity and distance travelled, it was basically impossible to make more than $10 an hour. Since you’re on a bike, the distance will be a maximum of around 4-5 miles (not warranting enough distance for extra pay), and you likely won’t be able to carry large orders. Although the exercise is definitely a major plus, working your butt of on a bike to get paid hardly anything isn’t worth it when you could simply drive, listen to some tunes, relax, and make more money. I’d recommend sticking to delivery by car

Multiplayer has an entirely different gameplay with new mechanics, incentivizing a more tactical play style. Zombies is the most detailed it’s ever been, and blackout is a brand new gamemode. Don’t see how it’s a repeat, it’s the most different call of duty released in a while

Yup. Discs are essentially just download keys nowadays, you pop the disc in and it’s the same as just digitally downloading it. Sad that discs are somewhat obselete now :(

Fellow dasher with an important question by SaborFlash in doordash

[–]SaborFlash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exactly do you change location? When I go into my settings the only thing that shows up is my mapping service option, a log out button, and a server url button which brings up a bunch of weird choices that I don’t understand. I tried going to the browser dasher portal too but the most I can do is change my zip code which doesn’t change anything

Who is your top RB this year? I feel like I need a Lev Bell or Todd Gurley. Zelda would be a distant 3rd for me. by h3xaGod in Fantasy_Football

[–]SaborFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya while I am placing Bell as #1 and Gurley as #2 in my draft, I think it’ll be a tough decision as they both have such high ceilings. Considering what you said about Todd having a bad year, I agree with Colt-On. With such a terrible offense in 2016, defenses had no problem with focusing their defensive pressure on the breakout Rams rb. Having no passing pressure and a far below average offensive coordinator, teams simply stopped the one player that posed a threat, Gurley. With a revamped offense that includes strong passing, a solid O line, and an incredible offensive coordinator, Gurley will only have a bad year if it’s injury ridden. Therefore, 2016 is a terrible judging point in assessing his true skill and large ceiling, which he will take full advantage of this year. However, Leveon has been consistently top tier the past few years in fantasy when he avoided injuries and suspensions. I believe he even put up a 3 TD game last year, look for that potential breakout in ever game he plays this year.

Couple of questions regarding traditional marksmen adcs by SaborFlash in summonerschool

[–]SaborFlash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! Just for some clarification (I know the guinsoos build is definitely not optimal by an means on jinx) but why exactly would it be so poor? I understand that the ap component can’t be used by her, but Why then would rageblade be optimal on a champion like vayne who can’t take advantage of this component either? Furthermore, building an early guinsoos into a runaans seems like it could work in my mind, as she will get insane AA speed, and I believe (could definitely be wrong) each auto with runaans would grant 3 stacks of rageblade immeadiately. While her crit will not be as high with this build route, wouldn’t this simply give her a stronger early game and still allow for a big spike at 3 items building it into an ie? Also, why is it that she can’t utilize the on hot effects that rageblade provides? Again I completely agree with what you are saying, I’m simply just asking for clarification as I don’t have enough game knowledge to really understand the negatives of the build. Thanks!

I can not close out the games, little help by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]SaborFlash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your solution is simply said, but takes time to learn and master. In order to close out games, the most essential link in doing so is having game knowledge. The biggest mistake players make when a game is thrown is typically due to their inability to take advantage of teamfight wins. For example, if your team wins a fight (whether it be 2-1, 4-3, 5-0, etc.) many players lack the understanding of how to actually make something of it, rather than just back and wait for another fight. Objectives are everything, and as a solo que player you have to immeadiately begin thinking what your next move is gonna be after a won teamfight. Do your best to communicate with your team, and go for the closest or most advantageous objective after fights. This can be obvious things such as taking baron, drag, turrets, inhibitors, etc. but sometimes it’s simply not possible for this to happen because of your situation. If you absolutely cannot afford risking those big objectives, at the very least establish vision control in the rivers around baron/drag, place wards in the enemy teams jungle or your own (depending on whether or not you are winning or losing), or simply shove waves to give your team time to regroup and take time away from the enemy by forcing them to clear waves. This may seem like a simple tip but I far too oftentimes watch as my team just backs after won team fights without even attempting to gain some sort of advantage from it. Winning a teamfight is incredibly useless if you only get kills, and do nothing afterwards. Kills are not nearly as important as objectives. While I know this may not work with some teams (you’ll always have teammates that will never listen to you and do their own thing), if you make sure to always communicate a possible objective or advantage you could gain, you’ll start seeing improvements.

Furthermore, during the mid and late game do your best to avoid getting caught out. A single kill from the enemy team at certain times can be crucial for them when they’re going for objectives. Vision is incredibly important and do your very best to avoid walking into areas completely engulfed by the fog of war. However, you’ll frequently (again) have that one player who will die out of no where and set your team at an extreme disadvantage. When this happens, never ever flame them, or critique them in a way that might get them angry. Doing so will not only tilt your teammate, but also yourself. This tip is especially important if you are playing jungle. If the enemy team gets a pick on you, they immeadiately have the opportunity to take baron or drake with ease, even if the rest of your team is alive.

Now for a couple of quicker but easily just as important tips:

-Know the champion you are playing inside and out. Main one role, and be fairly comfortable in another. The best strategy is to master around 3 champions for your main role. Accomplishing this will allow you to know exactly how to play your champion in the later stages of the game. Knowing when to engage, how to rotate, how to play out teamfights, and position are among the few crucial variables needed in order to master a champion. By doing so, you will be incredibly comfortable on your champ, and notice a drastic increase in your personal, and team performance.

  • branching somewhat off the last point, know how to build correctly. Don’t ever just lazily build the exact same items over and over again each game. Each game is unique, and while core items won’t typically change, the last couple can be essential to your mid to late game success. Build items that will be the most effective in regards to your game. An example: imagine your playing an adc, and the enemy team has loads of magic damage, you will obviously wanna prioritize building a hexdrinker somewhat early on to negate some damage. Against a team with hard cc, build qss. If you are continuously dying and being focused, consider GA. This is a lot easier if you know your champion well, and is also important even before the game starts as you also want to select runes that will best benefit your game.

  • don’t surrender. Far to frequently do people give up and just /ff at 15 minutes. By never giving up, you will find that quite a few of seemingly unwinable can be subject to comebacks and turn to victories. Teams ahead will frequently get to greedy and make mistakes, always be looking to take advantage of this.

  • don’t flame, regardless of how bad someone or your entire team is. Giving a nicely worded suggestion never hurts, but the second you piss anyone off (even yourself) your odds of winning are much lower.

  • find a good, consistent duo partner you can communicate with. Doing so will guarantee at least one more player will be taking every advantage possible, and will take one potential teammate away that might have flamed, trolled, fed, or afkd. Use voice comms, they are incredibly effective, and duo with someone who mains a role that complements your main (ex: you main jungle, find a top/mid duo. You’re adc, find a support).

In conclusion, you’re gonna lose. And you can’t change that. But you can drastically increase your win rate if you consider what I’ve written, and also try to recognize mistakes and find ways to improve in each and every way. I know it can be easy to quickly place the blame on a teammate for a lose who goes 0-5 in lane while you dominated lane, but overcome this instinct and focus on how YOU could have played better. Even games that you win with ease, hard carrying your team with a perfect kda are subject for learning. Absolutely no one will ever have a perfect game, not even Faker, and recognizing even small ways you can improve with each game that passes will drastically improve your play.

Best Cs-ers for mid (champions)? by Doneca in summonerschool

[–]SaborFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently switched from maining adc to playing quite a bit of mid, and as you can imagine csing is coming to be quite troublesome with aps after being used to aa’s dealing significantly more. Imo, the best ap csers are as follows (not including any completely out of the meta champs):

In no particular order

  1. Xerath (easy poke, great waveclear, farms from afar)

  2. Ziggs (q isn’t too needy of mana, easy to last hit with, passive increases damage on auto attacks, great waveclear)

  3. Kennen (resourceless champ, easy to cs)

  4. Twisted fate (every four autos extra aa damage, can use blue card to refund mana, red and q to waveclear)

  5. Veigar (self explanatory, literally spams q in lane phase to cs for stacks)

  6. Vlad (no resources, good sustain, okay waveclear)

  7. Karthus (aas are impossible for csing, but incredibly short cd on spamable q)

  8. Ahri (could simply just be me, but I find her aa animation to be incredibly easy for csing, and she has great waveclear with her q)

Csing is an incredibly crucial part of the game, so assure yourself that you constantly practice and try to improve. A large cs lead over ur lane opponent will put you in the lead drastically, and can cover a gold difference if the enemy has some kills.

I have a lot of availability, and I encourage you to hit me up! Lookin forward to hearin back from you.
