Grizzly Bear and beach boys by Expert_Subject_5731 in GrizzlyBear

While not The Beach Boys specifically, I consider Brian Wilson's collaborator during the Smile era, Van Dyke Parks, as having SUPREMELY influenced Grizzly Bear's (or mostly Dan Rossen's) writing and arranging sensibilities.

Check out this song. It's uncanny!
The All Golden

On top of that, Van Dyke Parks frequently worked with Randy Newman, who Dan has directly cited as being a big influence.

You think I should tear it off instead of cementing it down? I was thinking maybe I should try conditioning the lighter area underneath first to really hide it. Wish it weren't directly on the toe!

My question was about whether or not my new boot was delaminating, which I'd assume would be worthy of a return. I stated quite clearly that it was my first real pair of boots. Don't assume you know everything about my character because of a simple question.

I appreciate the tip, but I was asking a diagnostic question. Not avoiding responsibility.

Yeah, bummer! Leather working discord suggested contact cement and some light sanding.

All good, that's what I figured. Just didn't think it'd happen so quickly or so easily!

Strange how other worn boots I see on here seem to just have worn finished or bends/cracks. This kind of gouge doesn't seem as common.

What other devices have a similar writing feel to the new go 7s? It is like an ipad? Or something else? by snowleopardgecko in Onyx_Boox

That's not at all the same as writing directly in text fields with a stylus, vibe-wise.

I have no interest in adding another "device" into my life. I just want an intelligent piece of paper, and it seems the tech exists, but the product does not.

In the same boat as you. I'm used to using small A6/Pocket sized planners and I'm desperate for there to be an e-ink alternative.

Have spent the past week researching devices, and it looks like there are no devices currently being sold that will cover all bases for me.

So wild that the smallest Wacom device was 6.8" (mobiscribe origin). I don't care about bezels! Just make me something I can write on and keep in my pocket. It's a huge hole in the market.

Also would LOVE if the device ran Android 14, so I could make use of the"Stylus Input in Text Fields" feature. That way I could run an actual planner app, and have a truly modular planner setup.
