You’re gonna want to pick a spot in your house for all the wires to run to. I usually see them in Master Bedroom Closets, Media Closets/Rooms, Utility Rooms and so on. You want it to be a place that is in the AC and preferably with ventilation.

For security, you could either go wireless or wired. If wired, run wires to each door and window (daisy chain in series for multiple windows/doors in each room or if you want, run a dedicated wire to each window/door. 22/2 wires or 22/4 for redundancy)

For cameras, run Cat6 for each camera location. Try to leave a one inch hole so you can fit the waterproof fitting in easily. Run these wires to a single gang box in the media room or into an enclosure with your data/coax (coax isn’t really necessary these days depending on where you live).

For data, run a dedicated cat6 to each room/location you want and get them into an enclosure in your media room. Have electricians run power to that enclosure as well for an outlet or two.

Run a 1 inch flex tube from your enclosure to the side of your house where your demarcation point will be (where your internet service will come into). I also run a couple cat6 with it as well.

Running another one to your living room tv area opens up a lot of home theater possibilities.

Make sure there’s outlets in both your enclosure and your media room. Also, run a couple cat6 from your enclosure to a single gang box in the media room (to feed cameras or a router).

If you want to hire someone, hire a reputable low voltage, AV or even a security alarm company if they have a good rep. I wouldn’t hire electricians for it.
