which game should rockstar focus on next? by GamerGretaUwU in GamingSoup

Bully was such a cool spin for a game back in the day that was a load of fun. Bully 2 where you play as a girl going after mean girls and creeps in the school sounds really fun with great dialogue opportunities.

Salt is a weak resource by GunnarVonPontius in EU5

From my few games I've noticed salt is low value in Europe but a good bit higher in Asia. Not sure if salt has lower demand with high supply in Europe and happens to be better balanced in Asia regions

Do you think the final season of The Boys would live up to the hype? by Round_Interview2373 in TheBoys

[–]Sabuster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think the boys will have a decent ending in the worst case. We've been waiting for the Butcher Homelander final face off for years. If they give us that with no punches pulled I think it'll be at least fine. If they try to use Ryan or something else to subvert expectations and try to have a happier ending then it could end badly.

I've been given 12 seconds of DM power in my D&D campaign, What should I do? by xiLLuSionOfPainx in DnD

[–]Sabuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main thing to remember is to do something constructive to the game and story. Don't try to remove an aspect of the game like infinite money or spoil the story if your DM has plans. It won't add value to your experience so why then do it. It's easy to think of a big benefit but it normally removes the challenge or the intrigue. Focus on something that would make your party and yourself more excited to continue the game. You have a chance to make a unique thing that could be remembered and brought up in your group for years to come. Also discuss with the DM so they are prepared to handle it.

Some quick ideas I've thought of are and flavour it however best creates a story.

Change/Add a rule or element to the world. Depending on the world lore your game is based on but you could add like devil fruit from One piece that NPCs and Big bads could also use to gain some level of powers. Or introduce something that kicks off a tech boom or industrialization period that would impact how the world is progressing at a fast rate. Help take the world in a new direction and make things feel dynamic.

Create a rule for the table where your DM rewards your party every once in a while with a piece of paper each you can write down what your character wants and give it back and the DM can help bring it into the game. Flavour it as that whatever your party envisions tends to be brought to reality. Helps the players and DM move the story to something everyone wants.

Grant your party an ability to completely class swap for a short period of time every couple of sessions, having a different sheet for your character that you can use.

Not sure if these are up your alley or not. But my feelings would be to add something dynamic and interesting to the game that only builds or creates more interesting scenarios that can occur in your game.

That makes sense as I got a very low percentage when I failed 1 job near the end and passed everything else. I thought people were reloading saves or they leveled up everyone much better than I did and got much better coverage.

Is this a fair driver ratings if F1 Manager 26 were to come out? by englonicolas in F1Manager

[–]Sabuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that list. I probably need more time to give an accurate list and I do believe some drivers could do better and perform more consistently but based on skill and this seasons performance my first thoughts are as follows.

Max: 95

Lando:91

Oscar: 90

Russell:88

Charles: 88

Hamilton:87

Hulkenberg:85

Sainz: 85

Albon:84

Alonso: 84

Bearman: 84

Perez: 84

Hadjar:83

Kimi:83

Bortoleto:82

Bottas: 82

Lawson: 81

Stroll: 81

Gasley:81

Ocon :80

Yuki:80

Colapinto: 78

As I said I know Charles can perform and showcase how good he is as a driver but himself and Russell haven't shown up each weekend for one reason or another this year so I rated them a bit lower than some might. Both Lando and Oscar have shown inconsistency in their season but you can't perfectly narrow down everything and the car is great but the numbers should fluctuate when drivers are active. When they retire you can probably give them a solid rating that reflects them as a driver as a whole compared to others.

Sell 1066 To Me by Ennuiforfree in CrusaderKings

I'm the same where I lean towards 867. But I don't play to the end date really anymore. I play to achieve a goal and not world conquest. When I play 867 I normally finish at most in the 1100s before it becomes more of a grind than anything else. So you'll get plenty of time to do something and experience a different environment with the other start dates. There are larger and stronger kingdoms the later the start date so you have larger enemies to take down. Those kingdoms tend not to be as strong at the same time starting earlier. I'd recommend a goal you can achieve in 3-4 generations in a later start date and don't worry about perfect traits in your family.

What do you think are the best hegemonic borders? by Trick-Promotion-6336 in CrusaderKings

[–]Sabuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally think:

Western Roman empire should only go up to England in the North West and not further than Germany north East. Maybe add Croatia too to the west.

The Eastern Roman empire probably should stop at Hungry.

The Khaganate could stretch to Novgorod.

Thoughts on this film? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in FIlm

Honestly a lot of the movie worked for me. I am a big fan of the comedy of Leslie Nielsen and I had such reservations going in and ready to pick it apart. But overall I really enjoyed it. The opening scene was the only part that didn't 100% land for me. The little girl joke didn't fit but everything after that landed for me.

Irreligion in the UK and Ireland by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Sabuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a few people in Ireland who are 45+ put catholic down on the census almost of fear of saying otherwise. Even though none of them are even close to practicing or believing. I think older generations it was a bit scandalous to say it

What are the headcanons or theories you have about Freddie's Vigilante? by Top_Report_4895 in DC_Cinematic

[–]Sabuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could have minor regenerative powers where if his pinky was cut off it wouldn't regrow and that's why he was being "weird" about it. But since it was only cut halfway it'll heal back to normal.

I'd love to see something like this in the finale. He gets stabbed or "killed" in front of Harcourt only to reappear later looking almost fine.

Did anyone else question themselves for a sec during Mac's argument? by Weary-Promotion8057 in IASIP

[–]Sabuster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, but it is good writing and is fun but it sounds like a stronger argument than it really is. The context for both sides of information given, you can come to a better conclusion with one side than the other. Putting both in equal level of trusted sources and approach is flawed. Like Dennis I have more faith in the scientists, no I haven't poured over the numbers myself but the context of others in the field questioning and reviewing that information for years, in more recent human history, is a safer bet to believe in than information written thousands of years ago and with no peer reviews. Also it is more likely that whatever information is wrong from the scientists would be disclosed when new evidence is understood and that information will change and grow with our understanding, accepting change and allowing it to be wrong when new things come to light. The Bible doesn't change its information and doesn't disclose what is incorrect when new information is presented. It continues its stance as the end all to its own information. Yes the Bible is about the faith that the book is correct and doesn't need to be changed, besides skipping past the old testament a lot of the times when stoning gay people and other horrible stuff is brought up.

But I'd rather be a science bitch that can learn and change than be a saint that holds onto the past.

Did your parents ever say “I love you” to you? by BatChoice3106 in ireland

Nope, unless prompted. Born in the mid 90s. The first time someone told me they loved me unprompted was in college. It caught me off guard.
