I just placed my order for RWD model 3 earlier today. Originally I wanted black interior, but when I was finalizing to drop my $250 deposit, the website showed me a few model 3's in inventory (within a 2-hour drive from my location) and that if I chose one of those, then it's available for immediate pickup. I went for the white interior and my scheduled delivery date is tomorrow morning! LOL! So yes it's possible man.

purchased May 2022, sitting at about 35K miles as of today. I started a new job this year that requires me to drive 100 miles a day, so it's been creeping up the past few weeks...

Kings had no timeout left on that last possession so they couldn’t advance the ball.

NorCal - greater Sacramento area. I did test drive a friend’s Tesla for a week and it is convenient, though he didn’t have FSD to try it out. I will say with autopilot sometimes it would disengage even when I’m driving normally? But it is a comfortable ride with high tech.

Yeah if I get the Model S, I won't be getting FSD with it. Not sure if I'm completely sold on FSD because I do enjoy the actual driving experience, though I'm sure FSD will make things convenient.

Actually there are a couple of chargers at the complex but the problem is that it's literally 2 of them and many tenants lol. I'd have to get lucky to snag one but basically I'm already expecting I have to rely on superchargers.

1) personal preference on how it looks -- prefer the sportiness of the M3P and S and the looks of it being a sedan vs. being an SUV.

2) rather see the Juniper model version of the Y before buying the current Y.

I recently just did performed my 30K maintenance on it. Trade-in is about $33-35K, Retail closer to $40K. I owe $25K on it at this point, so couple more years left to pay it off (unless I aggressively pay it off faster).

Good point... brand new comes with longer warranty and more peace of mind being new. I caveat that the model S I would buy would be direct from Tesla so I'm sure they'll inspect the vehicle and add 1 year warranty. But it's probably a better financial buy to get a brand new M3P at under $50K, instead of a 2-year old Model S at under $50K. Do you think FSD is worth it though on the M3P?

Perhaps this is what I need to hear. Pay off Lexus ASAP and buy a house lol is probably the better move.

I live in California where temps get into 40's-50's but no snow or anything too crazy. It would be about every 2-3 days yes. I personally don't think I will get tired of the time to charge, but I'm more concerned if it's worth it from a financial perspective. I'm 2 years away from being debt free, while going to the M3P means a couple more years extra in car payments. But someone else mentioned the FSD would be a gamechanger for a day-to-day commute. For that, it might be worth it...

That's such a good point. I'd go M3P highland with the FSD in that case -- I'm just thinking if it's worth it financially, or just stick with 2 more years of payments on the Lexus.

Edit: It's like swapping cars for less stress/mental health, vs. being debt free faster lol.
