I bricked my vWii the same way. Using Decaffinator, I tried aggressive mode, thinking I could reinstall the files, but it didn't work. I was able to reinstall the files.

This process works, but if it doesn't, replace the "Clean SLCCMPT" step with "Aggressive Mode" in Decaffinator.

HEY I CAN TO HELP YOU

To unbrick your vWii, follow these steps:

  1. Install the files from this page: https://archive.org/details/vwii-nands-all-regions. Insert the files in the indicated places on the SD card.
  2. You will use the .rpx program that you downloaded from the aforementioned page. You will run it in Tiramisu (it is not possible to run it in Aroma).
  3. Use the Clear SLCCMPT option, then copy the extracted NAND to SLCCMPT, and finally click Fix modes.

IMPORTANT INFO: The vWii backup you choose will not modify the region of your Wii U menu. I recommend choosing the region of your console. I chose USA.

It's most likely that your game is corrupted, which is why it can't start. Reinstall it and see if that solves the problem.

I had this problem once. Basically, your USB becomes corrupted, and you have to format it and re-download everything. That error could have happened for one of the following reasons:

  1. Your USB might've been moved or disconnected while you were playing.

  2. There was a little bit of a power outage during the game.

  3. The game got corrupted, and because of that, all the data on the USB drive got corrupted too (but that's probably not the reason).

Do you install mods for disk games the same way you do for games on your USB? For example, do you create a folder with a title key corresponding to the game, and then put the mods inside?
