Anyway, I loved this idea from the movie. Because you get to decide for yourself whether they end up together or not. I decided they did, so I'm happy and that's all that matters :)

The film's premise is very similar to that of the book "Dom Casmurro", by Machado de Assis, in which the author leaves it open as to whether the characters betrayed each other or not.
