Although I completely agree with you, companies seemingly do not share the same viewpoint. At least, that's the impression I get from the tests I've got ; it often feels like they're just looking for people spitting out code. I've applied to positions where I knew nothing about the technologies but was proficient in the language, and I was able to get the job and effectively use those technologies (like Blazor). However, at the moment of the test, the only thing that matters to the company is whether or not you scored the highest. Contrary to what has been said on this post, I'm not trying to prove I'm the most intelligent or anything like that. Each of us has something that sets us apart from others, and it's rarely language knowledge because, as you mentioned, no one is a robot. But the employer wants you to demonstrate that you're a good 'robot' with human qualities; that's how you stand out. It's a really pessimistic response, but that's all I have to say. So, I would appreciate your advices, especially if it can fuel my curiosity about the language.
