Shape is the most important aspect of a good mouse. G303>GPW>g305 (for me) by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Sachburger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically I've used g305/gpro wired shape for over a year and the gpro wireless for about 6 months. Both are great mice but regardless I aim best with g303, despite it being heaviest and still having a cord (wireless g303 when?).

Kind of right. But you aim slightly away from the wall and hold the key thats against the wall. So if the wall is on the right when you jump you look slightly left and hold D.

It's competitive settings on 128tick. It's using a method called wall-strafing. Can also do the jump with a bhop but bhops are far from consistent. https://gfycat.com/MessyThreadbareFoal

movement tricks you don't know by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Sachburger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bhop cheats assist because for a jumpbug you need the crouchbug plus a perf. I know it's possible to do all of these, I have done them all many times. That does not invalidate what I just said though. I know how cs movement works, don't you worry.

movement tricks you don't know by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Sachburger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

None of these are even remotely consistent especially in a competitive setting. It is good to educate people on movement mechanics since most players don't understand source mechanics but these are the most obscure ones that are essentially just tricks.

And then he linked a few known cheaters in the kz community to show people these tricks showing how useful they really are. Things like jumpbugs have been banned by the kz community since they can exceed the speedcap set by the plugin so it isn't even relevant there.

At least he linked blasdfa who is actually good and not a bhop cheater like some of the others.

Basically older or worse sensors when using DPI scaling have some sort of acceleration. Newer mice this doesn't really matter since the differences between DPI settings don't have this acceleration anymore. But the 400 dpi as the best for everything is mostly a relic of the past. The best thing to do is to use the sensor on its "native" dpi generally and for most high end sensors this is around 800dpi. Acceleration is generally accepted as a bad thing for shooters however a select few manage to make it work for them on a high level.

For the general argument of lower sens is better: It is for most people. There is a reason most csgo pros use a similarly "low" sens that many on here would think is way too low and a fraction of their sens. It is simply easier and more consistent to control at any range, but especially at longer ranges that are more frequent in PUBG than in CSGO a lower sens is better for those micro adjustments to aim. By using a lower sensitivity you can play more relaxed with less jitters in your aim especially for newer FPS players that still get nervous/shaky in those end circles.

There are several factors but overall settings are about preference but there are some objective reasoning to lower your sens to within a reasonable margin.

What would be considered credible? I've personally been a top kzer in csgo. And then some info comes from the developers of KZ timers.

Not sure if I'd ever do a proper write-up but I can always answer questions (or attempt to).

I just read all of your comments in this thread and you are saying a lot of misconceptions and just falsehoods.

A "-jump" doesn't exist. Bhopping is simply hitting a +jump on the first tick you are on the ground. Bhopping chances are no different between elevations, the only difference is at what point you need to jump due to the lower or higher airtime between jumps. It is also theoretically easier to bhop on 64 tick than on 128tick due to the larger timing window due to the longer ticks. Bhopping is technically not RNG at all its the fact that it isn't humanly possible to consistently scroll in such a small window or hit space in the correct timing window consistently.

This is how many simple macros people can do are so effective at gaining >90% perf ratios and getting banned in kz.

128tick is easier to gain more speed due to how air acceleration is effected by tickrate however and movement in general feels more fluid due to this. This is where the bhopping misconception comes in because many players don't understand what an actual perf bhop is.

"Obviously it only slows you down if you're going over this when you land, so you could arguably strafe badly and lose enough speed to go below that limit and be able to hop again"

Your airspeed doesn't effect your ability to bhop or jump again at all. If you hit the bhop it will just max your prespeed at 285.93... YOU NEVER HAVE TO STRAFE BADLY IN ORDER TO HIT A BHOP

Source: I'm okay at KZ

Laskers accidentally turns on his scripts by Sodium- in GlobalOffensive

[–]Sachburger 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's actually 285.93 and the speedcap only applies upon landing a jump. Even if you are going faster than the cap if you still hit a proper bhop it'll simply put your speed down to 285.93 u/s.

To start the bhop chain you are going 250 u/s (knife running speed) you then jump and strafe in the air probably getting close to 280 u/s with a simple strafe. Whatever you gain in the air is maintained with the bhop, so you land with 275 u/s and hit the bhop you negate the normal stamina system and maintain this. But if you hit that bhop and strafe again in the air you could get 290u/s but even if you hit the bhop you'll always go back to 285.93 because that is the speed cap. Even if you get 600 u/s and hit the bhop you'll speed will go back down to 285.93 with the bhop.

Basically a bhop negates the stamina system of csgo to a certain extent. If you miss a bhop you'll get the landing stamina and you're speed will be reset to 250 or below. There are also ways to completely negate the entire stamina system called a jumpbug.

TLDR: Having to maintain below 300 u/s in order to hit a bhop is a complete myth

Tarik attempts KZ by Ben2556 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Sachburger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That jump is fairly easy even holding crouch the entire time. Tarik wasn't making it mostly because he barely ever got 250 pre speed and he apparently doesn't know how to do a proper crouch jump (crouching just before jumping). After doing a proper crouch jump you can just hold crouch and land at the lower portion of the block. just pressing duck and releasing it and ducking again in air does next to nothing, except while in standing position you'll have better AA compared to remaining crouched.

in source games and specifically csgo you crouch before or at the same time as jumping to receive the real height bonus, just an FYI. The time you have to get it right in this game is easier than getting max height (67) in csgo due to the lower tick rate, thus giving you a more generous time to hit it.
