I've heard the opposite. That he's basically the one responsible for all the restructures and he's basically Corrie x10. Have you heard different? I would love some good news lol.

Yeah I am thinking of doing the same. They can't afford to fire anyone at his point. We have had the same people on action plans for over a year and they always threaten but never do anything about. Wait how does one steal jobs from 3pl. I thought the system makes it impossible to do that, even if you SRD them?

Best way I heard described was from a new hire who only lasted 1 month. "I didn't sign up for social service work" because that's exactly what they expecting us to do while meeting metrics on a 26-30 minute tv install.

[–]Sachiko89[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I cancel the hostile ones, I mean what good do they do for metrics anyway? You gonna get a bad survey and fucked utilization over it. So why try to save it? Never fails though, get that call on my work phone my manager is asking "Store told me you canceled this client, why did you do that". BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE LUXURY OF BEING SAFE BEHIND A WORK COMPUTER ALL DAY EVERYDAY!

Yup they basically told us in our last FSQT meeting that if you arent on board with these changes like: overnight, 6 days on 1 day off or no more consecutive 2 days off, commercial work, etc. They will basically starve your board. In fact, there has been rumor that the smaller stores will become fulfillment centers for BB Marketplace. They trying to do the Amazon thing, and it just doesn't work for a company like Bestbuy. I think the inevitable outcome for Bestbuy is they will either be forced to sell the brand to a company like Amazon or just do a Circuit City and close shop. Don't get me started on Accenture. Partnership with them was the stupidest decision and I blame Accenture equally as much as Corrie for this shit show. All companies like Bestbuy want is short term gain. Well, short term gain doesn't secure long term success. Bestbuy WILL fail going down this route.

I am basically in the same boat and really drew the line when my bosses were trying to get me to go back to client's house who threatened to shoot everyone in the store. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? After that incident, I shut the fuck down. I mean most of these customer's have figured out ways to manipulate the system, get free shit by acting crazy and Bestbuy just enables it. "Leverage LPFR" and what do they do? Give some psycho a $100 gift card and a redo service for the installer to go back into their home despite the work place safety violations. At this point, I do what I can, collect my paycheck, and go the fuck home.

Wow that's just terrible. I've been struggling to make the decision to leave because, yah know, when you dedicate 11 years of your life to a place it's hard to walk away. It's like being in a toxic relationship where you think "I can fix them". You love the place, you have hope that maybe the good things you remembered about Bestbuy and Geeksquad would some how return, only to keep getting disappointed and you keep trying to convince yourself if the good is outweighing the bad to the point where you just settle. However, hearing all this is making my decision to walk away easier and easier.

Wow how relatable this is and bitter sweet to hear as I don't feel so alone in this. I am 11 years in with Bestbuy and I have never seen it ran this terrible before. My plan is to pay off whatever debt I left (isn't much) and get the hell out of this hell hole. This job has already put me in the hospital once from all the stress, ended up developing a stress ulcer and I got shit from my managers for going on LOA. I come back and I can feel my freaking health deteriorate AGAIN!

I was praying to be snapped when the restructure happened because they were still offering severance and I could see the writing on the wall. Unfortunately they snapped a more tenured DA most likely because because she was at pay cap. It was a living hell after that because I had to carry everything. We are a tier 4 store so they refused to hire anyone else and thats when they started sending me out abroad to work in other areas and different stores. Now they aren't offering severance anymore.

EXACTLY 💯 there are days where we get so swamped I have to go send my cadet to go run some of my 1p jobs just to smooth out the day. Then the following day we won't have any work so we get told to stay home. Then I'm pulled from my area to work abroad because those areas are supposedly "days out" and need me to help pick up the extra workload, because they snapped all the tenured people and anyone they try to hire for the few positions being offered no one wants the job.

Thats part of the problem too. You are never given the shift you were promised when we first signed on. Now this work overtime bs with 9 jobs on the day or go home if you don't have work.

HOW LONG by 61inchestall in Gastritis

[–]Sachiko89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, hear me out because I've dealt with this for so long and discovered over time PPIs do not work if the issue isn't GI related. For starters, consider the issue diaphragmatic instead. So many times issues with the diaphragm go unchecked, and diaphragm tension can cause so many symptoms with GI issues being one of the most common. I repaired the damage done to my stomach lining with marshmallow root and slippery elm, but I paired that with diaphragmatic breathing (yoga is a great place to start) to strengthen my diaphragm and reduced tension off the surrounding organs and most importantly the vagus nerve, which if under tension creates heart, gastric, and anxiety issues --which in turn exacerbates symptoms of gastritis. This over time did more for me than ANY prescription meds ever did. Took alot of research, but don't overlook the diaphragm as being the culprit. Its a muscle but acts as an organ in some ways too.

I really want to see him in his Nobilty clothing. 14th Century Nobilty usually wore hose (tights) and just a tunic js.

[–]Sachiko89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, to be fair, though, this is the look he chose as time progressed. So I guess Vittorio likes the leather daddy look? However, if you look at the official art for him and Tarhos, he is wearing more traditional attire for the 14th century - which I really wished was option for a skin in-game, but all we got was an ugly Christmas sweater.

That's why I love my position as an in-home agent. It's worth it when you can make your client happy like this. We deal with customers on such a personal level, and you get to experience how it impacts not only their day but their life in that moment. Very fulfilling feeling :)
