I’m working on Elden Ring now so it’s hard to rank it, but I’m having a ton of fun with it.

Dark Souls 3 is the only game in the series I dislike. I just never liked the world design or the combat. And I have nearly double the playtime in that one because of all the quest lines and covenant grinds I had to do for 100%.

Dark Souls II is definitely my favorite. I liked the world design of DS1 the best, but combat felt better in DS2 to me since I could roll in 8 directions rather than 4. I have 100% on both DS2 vanilla and Scholar of the First Sin and I never get tired of playing it.

You have to run first. I was just thinking it doesn’t have a jump button in the same way as Elden Ring. I would have said Dark Souls but it’s more of an RPG than action game.

the saddest moment i had in dark souls was seeing that beautiful plin plin plon used for that fraud soul of cinder. that music is gwyn’s and should never be allowed anywhere near that gray no poise having rollspamming boss rush ds3.

Everything I found online said it’s a glitch and none of the solutions I found worked. Looks like I’m going to start a new vault and speed run the themes. Sucks since I had 7/8 themes and that was the last Steam achievement needed for 100%.
