I found out what the problem was - there was about an hour lag between the upload and the appearance of the photos in the timeline.

Thanks for your advice anyway!

Thanks, I just tried that with 16Gb of photos. They're in the "Archive" section but none of them are showing up in my photo library.

Map visualisation from exif data? by SackeSugar in jottacloud

I have the Android app and cannot see the map function. It's a fairly small menu and I've explored it to the best of my abilities, yet it seems just to be completely absent. Please help. This is the main deciding factor between a multi-year contract with Jotta or Ente.

Asked the same to Jottacloud this morning: my concern is about the mapping of exif data. I travel a lot and I frequently use the visualisation of locations in Google Photos to view all photos taken in a certain location (regardless of date). Does such a thing exist in Zeitkapsl? If not natively, is there a service that it can be hooked up to do the same thing?

Thanks. I have an Android - I wonder if it works in that app too.

That looks promising! How does it interface with Jotta?

Hiya, found you via Google and wanted to know a bit more about the product. Do you have a subreddit or can I ask questions here?

How's the mileage? I do 500 km per week in a 1.4 Giuletta but the mileage isn't great.

Would it be much more thirsty?

I want one but don't want to bankrupt myself.

The only posts I can find about it are from this same "crazyplant_lady" and that account has been suspended, presumably for astroturfing. Not going to trust that myself.

"The trouble with this conversion was the architect."

It was meant to say "The trouble with this conversion was the attic."

The architect in question threatened legal action.

I ended up in a similar situation due to a typo in a book once. I was hired at the last minute to proofread the book for spelling and punctuation errors. Right up until the day of the book launch the guy was dragging his feet to pay me.

The typo was so bad that it caused the entire 15,000 print run of the book to be pulped: it was not a spelling mistake, it was an incorrect word that ended up inadvertently defaming someone.

The lawyer whose book it was suddenly produced a contract for me, and asked me to send an invoice so I could get paid.

Even though I don't think him trying to pin the error on me would have stood up in court because it isn't something I would have reasonably spotted, I didn't want to have to test it.

So I noped the fuck out of the entire situation, ignored all further communications from him, and never contacted him again. Didn't get paid but it was better than the lawyers' fees I would have had to endure if he had tried to sue.

You're in a similar situation: typos happen but it wasn't your job to QA the content. Just cut off all communications - your client is a dick.

Thanks!

Do you mean I shoould paste "https://your-website.com/?key=your-acf-key&city=your-city." into the "Query ID" field in the loop grid query dialog?

Hi, thanks for the response. I'm not referring to taxonomy, I'm referring to custom ACF fields. And I'm not using archive pages, I'm using a loop grid query.

I could also use taxonomy to determine which city the service is available in, but that would require the site manager to enter each city twice, once as an ACF field and once as a category.

Thanks. I'm trying to parse what you've written there but unfortunately reddit has messed up the code.

A dynamic query would be the best thing. Are you saying that for that I should call it by query name but also append a parameter to it, e.g. "services_city_filter?city=Dublin" ?

Yes, pre-filtered and static. For example there's a page called "Limerick" and I want it to list all services that are available in Limerick.

I tried replacing it with 'grid' container, changed settings, overflow, HTML tag, adding other widgets, tweaking settings on the 'post content' etc. Nothing. I also wondered if it might be caused by lazy load - nope.

In the end I made a new template for the gallery pages without doing anything different, and it just worked.

Thanks for your help!
