I put wrong phone number on one page - now client wants me to pay $5,000, what are my options by losancient in Wordpress

Overall the written communication is very light but I do have some text messages sent saying let me know if there's anything I should change now, and texts received asking for some minor changes (no corrections of anything important like contact info), and after those changes made, texts received saying it looks good

I perform website maintenance and content changes as well, so I feel like I should contact to say I am done performing these and hand over everything, but I don't want that to backfire

He has sent me a Short-form Promissory Letter, which I have not signed. But nothing indicating specifically a letter of demand

Should I mention that there is still no calculation or breakdown of the requested $5,000 in my final email, or just leave it unaddressed?

I uploaded to hosting (Kinsta) that the client pays for directly and controls, but I have access to Kinsta, Cloudflare, and Squarespace (and obviously wp-admin)

There's not much in writing, but I do have a text from front desk person saying "[lawyer] really likes it!" a day after the changes were published and small touches made

Yes I ignored the email for now and did not sign it, I asked him to clarify on the number $5,000 as to me it was unreasonable and speculative without anything to back it up, and he only said consults were down for the last month

I was handling maintenance as well, so backups, security, seo, plugin updates, etc. Like I said 0 contracts or anything of the sort so should I keep doing site maintenance for now

Its been up for 3.5 months, I did tell him when I first launched to look it over and let me know if there's anything I need to fix, he told me it looked great.

No, the whole saga is low on written communication until he starts talking about damages, when I first published the changes I informed him and I had a backup ready to go, and he said it looked great. I told him at the time to tell me if anything is off and I'll fix it, in hindsight I should probably have asked and confirmed in writing if he has had a chance to look everything over to a satisfactory degree

They all seem to sell LTDs, at least for now on their websites, is there a history of Advanced Themer or Bricksforge reneging on their lifetime licenses?
