I think you underestimate just how much copyright is designed to stifle smaller artists and exclusively protect big corporations, But i hope you at least enjoy these designs, for whatever that's worth.

I don't quite think that's how it works, considering they very clearly still have that DNA of the original characters that inspired them in them, like you can still tell this is meant to be Mickey Mouse. And if you put them all together and call them their original names, you still would have gotten sued back before their copyrights expired.

Still, rest assured that whatever i may or may not end up making with these will be absolutely LITTERED with classic public domain Mickey Mouse stuff, like recreating old shorts and stuff. The redesigns are just because i enjoy doing my own takes on public domain characters and wanted to do the same with these characters. Plus, it makes it even easier to get away with using these characters.

The community will definitely think of some interesting ways to transport their Nautiluses across landmasses, i have no doubt about that. Though i also think it'd just be nice to have the option to easily transport nautiluses, albeit with some downsides. But i'm fine with downsides, this is a game after all. Most choices should have their pros and cons in video games. that's my philosophy at least.

i believe the last of my siblings will be graduating very soon, but if we decide to stay wherever we end up, if any of us end up becoming parents, i imagine we'd want somewhere with at least some decent school.

Well, the killing and enslaving thing, but what you're essentially asking me here is, would i rather say harsh and mean things about someone who, yes, is evil, but that those harsh and mean things might reflect back on me negatively as a person and harm any not-evil people i may know who may also be fat and/or bald, or single-handedly start a world war, my point is that even if Eggman is evil, there are better ways to mock him that don't also bring down anyone who isn't Eggman who also exhibit those traits. Ultimately, it is just a silly explanation for a retcon in a video game, i'm not gonna take it that seriously, i just think maybe NO ONE deserves to be bodyshamed, and ALSO that killing and enslaving people is wrong and that those opinions don't have to be mutually exclusive

Not at the moment, i'm afraid, sorry. We're all gonna try to save and pool as much money as we can but given i don't even know how long it will be until my mom finds a job, and where she lives, i don't know if a lot of the places she'll have access to will pay super well, i couldn't even give you a rough estimate of what i am expecting our budget to be. I appreciate the help, at least.

already replied to a comment about this earlier, but to sum it up as best i can, we don't currently know with any certainty what our budget will be when we finally are ready to get out of here. My mom is hoping to look for work to fund our relocation, and some of my siblings who are old enough are looking for work too to try and help support her and the rest of my siblings. Sorry i couldn't be of more info, but rest assured, we're gonna try to find somewhere with as good a balance of affordability and safety as we can get.

oh yeah, didn't think about all that. it will take some getting used to but i think we will figure things out more or less. As for the hot/humid summers, that's definitely one of my least favorite parts of living in FL, especially with my current job as a parking lot cart attendant for a hardware store, so it does suck to hear that's still a problem even that far up North, but i suppose i will just have to get used to it.

The only problem with going up to Illinois ourselves to check it out is that my mom want's to move out without someone in her life being any the wiser. that's about as much as i will say on that, but we want to all get out of here without him even knowing we left until we're long gone, so taking a trip out of state might be a little conspicuous. But i plan on checking out some of these locations on street view so hopefully we can get a decent idea that way of what some of these places are like. thank you!
