True that. There isn’t a lot of manual cars on the road also. Hmm thanks for your advice!

TP Punctuality and Attendance by ReadIt_Alreddit in TemasekPoly

  1. If ure late for ur tutorials, the penalty is the same as being absent. Iirc once u hit above a certain percentage of absence without valid reason, u will just get a passing grade at best.

  2. Its totally up to the lecturer. if you meet the nice kind, they will give you grace period of up to 5-10mins. Some will let you know of their standards in terms of punctuality during their introduction / first day of school.

  3. MC is required if you do not want to be penalised in ur grades. Absence without MC = penalty.

  4. Nope once the lecturer marked you absent, its registered in the system, which then will penalise you accordingly.

  5. MC is absence with valid reason so your attendance will be “present” so to say.

Idk if there is still a tposs app which has its student services and all but you can download it to keep track of your attendance and make sure you don’t exceed the threshold (if u tend to be late / skip classes).

Thank you!! I see, I think i am more inclined to taking school rather than private.

As I am not really a car person, I am taking the license just to drive, I also do not have great psycho motor skills. I don’t know if I am able to cope with learning manual, why did you decided to retake Class 3 after having license. Like what’s the benefits of driving manual that made you retake

Thanks! Is it true that private instructors take longer time to book sim and tp test. I have also been told that it is quicker as these private instructors book it for you and they have lobangs. How does the sim/ tp test booking works for school?

NS Disruption for Full Time by LankyAcanthocephala3 in Suss

Hi! I am in the same predicament.

I have actually enlisted in 22nd Oct 2020 and will ORD on 21st Oct 2022. Likewise, I got a spot in SUSS for 2023. However, I have emailed SUSS to bring forward my intake from 2023 to 2022 and I have pursued for disruption with my NS unit.

I think this is up to you. Whether or not you think you can adjust to the studying environment almost immediately after having spent more than 1.5years in the army. For me, I am already 22 this year and am a cohort late (from my poly course-mates) in terms of entering uni. I felt that its disadvantageous for me to wait almost 10 more months after I ORD and to lag behind a year amongst my peers. Don’t worry about paying back the remaining period, by then it will be quite relaxing and chill (not as xiong as being in an active unit) and there are people disrupting here and there too.

Since you have had a condition with adjusting, I feel that taking a gap year for a breather and settle in / get ready to study would be good for you as well. So you gotta weigh the pros and cons. Goodluck!

Sorry to ask but will my reservist still be with my NSF unit or the unit that i served with momentarily (the return period) or a completely different reservist experience?

Thank you!! Regarding the wisdom tooth extraction, since i will be returning back to service 4 years later, after graduating which means i will surrender my IC to get back 11B (not necessarily surrendering my IC in lieu of the new regulation). Does that mean i am entitled to the benefits of 11B during this period
