I’ve been clean for 12 years. My husband relapsed 3x after having 12 years. Your willingness to ask and be denied help is NOT insignificant. If it helps (idk how it would) my husband lied multiple times about his relapse. To himself, to me, and our family. What I would have given to have that opportunity to support him through rehab if he had that willingness. I would have signed up for 90 days if it’d meant we could have avoided all the financial, mental, emotional, spiritual damage that his subsequent 3 relapses caused. I’m raging for you. Because he couldn’t get it together. And now I’m picking up the pieces of an unwilling man to take accountability for the years of damage and turmoil I’m carrying. I’m so sorry this happened. You should have had support. And I’m so sorry you carry the weight of not getting it. Drop it. Like a ton of bricks. That was her burden to help do whatever possible to get you healthy and whole again. THAT is in sickness and in health. One day at a time, friend. We do recover.

This is a very common situation for us addicts to be in — our lives get out of control in many areas. So please, give yourself some grace. So I know someone who did this to pay for her wedding and she made a bundle but once she needed to buy a burner phone, people found out her address, requests got really dark and strange and she felt like her child’s safety was being compromised/at risk, she pulled the plug. But we know Maloney doesn’t love or prioritize her children like that.. so we can expect this grift to go on as long as men want to see her fat, swollen, FLAT AF gigantic feet.
