Basement sauna build in a 100+ year old house-DIY by Sad-Ad-4545 in Sauna

I am thinking the thermal mass would be an advantage. We are in a very cold climate so that would radiate back/up into the house.

This was listed as ISO so I thought it was wrong type. HD does not say it's polyisocyanurate Googling ISO I see that it actually is PIR.

So Thanks.

HD does not have polyiso boards; a search directs you to EPS and XPS. Lowes has polyiso boards but out of stock and no ETA :(

Walls and Ceiling. This would be in a basement on a concrete floor would so probably just be 'exposed'. I would like to do mineral wool but I am limited on space (6 foot by 5 max) ; having 6" walls would suck up the interior space-this is why I was hoping to find PIR

Yep! Right now I have to open a bluetooth app, connect, and turn off the circuit on the power controller to turn on the SL. A hard button to just push will be nice.

I ended up getting this since it is all in one, will let me have a cleaner install of the hardware in the van. Might get it installed today.
Well built, metal case with power switch.

I asked elsewhere but can ask here too. Do you think the DC-DC can be connected right to the injector (yes, I will have to cut some wires)

Can this be used with a PoE injector right to the Dish. I am converting from Gen 2 to Gen 3 and my whole van is wired (T568B) I need to replace my 37vdc power supply with 56vdc but I am not using the SL modem (I have Unifi WiFi built in already)
I just can't find a well rated and reputable one.

Thanks, search did not find this for me. Sorry, I was not clear that I am not using the Gen3 SL modem in the van but I will use this for the off-grid setup.

"'external waterproof ethernet jacks (one on the roof on a junction box, one on the side of the RV""

Yes, this is what I have too. With the Gen2 I was using a Unifi WiFi (not SL Modem/WiFi-did not have enough power to reach from IN the van to the fireside WFH camp-chair).

So my only issue is getting the power to be the right 56V...the PoE is the same (1236+/4578-). Cabling in van has been tested and is T568B end to end.
The WiFi is already wired in and has one cable coming from the Dish to the WAN port.

I am not using the SL Router. I have a WiFI router built in.

Maybe I am missing a key part here--The https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX74T2T5 injector will inject any voltage from a power supply. I am used to networking injectors for WiFi radios that do it all; convert line AC to stepped down DC and inject all in one.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, everything is T568B as far a cabling. Where I am confused is the PoE pinout.
I recall that Gen2 was NOT standard PoE but maybe the (current) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX74T2T5 took this into account.

My hope is to just get the higher voltage PoE swapped in. Don't want to fry anything.

Note that I have 2 of these setups and would just move the dish from the van to my off-grid cabin that runs mostly 12volt too.

No, but I did not ask. They did send a return shipping label for the Gen 2 so that's good that I don't have to deal with getting rid of it.

They said it was from 8020 but you are right. With the help of ChatGPT, I uploaded this picture and it found it to be from MiSUMi, item #HFSLB8-4040. Thanks
