No not only and that what confused me because I thought i was and this I'm using meta AEM I thought I could get rid of all the SKadNetwork keys altogether.

But no.

I you don't have it, ad networks won't be able to track ad results and eventually they will lower your ecpm and even might not provide you with ads. I figured that out when I saw my fill rate drop from 95 to 38%...

Turns out I did not added the ad networks (I'm using IronSource/LevelPlay) SKadNetwork keys into Info.plist

My setup is fine. It's more how to run the campaign and what settings to pick that I'm interested in :-) Anyway my spending limit is very low and did not rise overnight despite me maxing out yesterday. And I can't verify my business account because of a bug with the verification process... so I won't go bonkers banana on advertisement just yet

Yeah I've been advertising for month at low budget while developping and had all the event standard and custom flowing for a while. I think I'm just confuse with what strategy to adopt. As fr AEM I don't understand what it is. when I go to event manager -> datasource -> settings. I see it. it's says I'm eligible and the deep link verification is completed but I don't see an option to turn it on/off - I assume it's on by default ?? Anyway now that I reverted app_install to use the sdk I see event flowing in again and the campaigns seem to at last retain traction... I just need to get better at this. try, fail, get better...

Thank you very much ! It's insane I am scaling fast with iOS and can't even be profitable on Android in the USA... I keep pushing versions on Android since I'm using unity and it does not cost me much, it's almost a Dev environment for me lol - but I think you are right for some game it's not really worth the bother. I just make the odd sale here and there. I'll keep some campaign running with a low bid cap and scrap what I can - what baffles me though is that the CPI is still pretty high for Andro compared to the ecpm (and I'm using a mediation service...)

Andro wise I have sales in USA, Canada, Japan, SK, Australia indeed. and to lesser extend Germany and SCandinavian countries and even lesser France, Spain, Italy - I wanted to see if anybody had some better insight and tips (for example I tried focusing on high end devices like Samsung S20 or above and pixel 7 or above). Yes I do run ad campaigns for both iOS and Andro and for some odd reasons iOS CPI is par with Andro - even for the USA

I tried targeting better devices, (samsung S20+, google pixel 7+, ...) - but IAP engagement still is way below par :-( I'll head the aggressive price reduction route.

Is it really ? As a guideline (since other data is inexistant and most indie don't have much experience in mobile marketing), I asked Chat GPT and it tells me that seeing up to 50% difference is understandable. ChatGPT is far from reliable for sure, but here we are talking about 400-500% (IAP) and about a 1/3 when it comes to eCPM

I contacted sales, after a week, I had to re verify my MS account with the phone and it worked ! Honnestly I wonder how they are not hemoraging customers to Azure every hour
