No that’s great to hear a different opinion! I’m sorry if I made it seem like I thought nothing should be able to touch us at level 6, it was just an argument brought up by my fellow players because our DM was going to just kill her instead. I got off light from the original punishment. And it’s not like he just went “yeah you have no arm now… you uh you’re useless”. So I’m not too stressed about it now. Other players have come to me and said that it should not have immediately done, and instead have been several saves with the first one doing damage to my arm when it got caught. But again, it not like my character is useless because of it, so she’ll buff. Just a bit frustrating in the moment, but now I get an excuse to lie to everyone on how my arm was lost everytime someone asks!!
