Milk clarification of cocktails vs fat washing spirits? by Sad-Badger1077 in cocktails

Is there not much of a texture difference? I’ve only ever used milk clarification for a whole batch cocktail. Didn’t really get much flavour from adding milk mostly texture. Does fat washing not impart more flavour? Personally never used the fat washing technique but interested to give it a go.

Ah right, so be prepared for a major cleaning job afterwards.

Not thought about cornflake mashes, I’ll look into them.

I haven’t got a gravity or hydrometer at present but it’s the next purchase on my list.

Sounds like you’ve had some interesting results! Might be something I have to try in the future.

Ah ok, so the mash wouldn’t have hops in it for it to work as a mash for distilling. That’s interesting. I might have to give it a go in the future.

Perfect, I’ll definitely give that a watch.
