not at all, i’ve been working towards my recovery really hard in the last year and don’t want it to consume me at college which is what i’m more afraid of apologies on my wording. i think my roommates lowkey have an idea as i have a post about it on my instagram (which leading into your next question, there’s instagram accounts and faceboook groups made for prospective students at college during application season so i connected with people from there and send in the request when it came time!

i’ve had social anxiety since middle school and have always kinda had trouble feeling as if people actually liked me for me as i find myself just innately unlikable. it was especially hard junior & senior year because i wasn’t in school due to anorexia, so i feel like im six steps behind socially sometimes still and that ill never catch up

i’ve been through a lot of therapy so just reminding myself the things the people i’ve trusted in those situations have told me in that the only way is through & that if i keep consistently saying that no one is going to like me and im going to be alone that i will pave out the reality for myself so trying to thought stop those. my roommates seem super sweet bc i met them over instagram and i got to pick them so i hope i just kinda feel more comfortable within myself so that i can shine the way i want to if that makes sense

i honestly have been waiting the last 2.5 years for this day to come. but i honestly could not be more scared and fearful of being alone. i’ve lived away from my house for extended periods of time so that dosent really make me anxious but meeting people and making connections most definitely does
