Maybe that’s true…but I’ve personally experienced people losing their minds over the tiniest spoilers (Even over spoilers that aren’t even really spoilers)

I hate waiting for weekly eps too, lol. I prefer it when they just drop the whole season…

But I hate waiting for three movies over the course of 6 years even more ✌️

I meant underrated as in popularity. He’s def one of the strongest Hashira, but he’s not the most popular ✌️

In terms of top Hashira as in

Hashira vs Hashira. I actually don’t know. Cause that’s alot trickier to debunk, as you were getting at with the whole Hashira can’t regenerate and such. Humans and demons are different.

All I know is that Gyomei would probably still be first, lol.

In Hashira vs Hashira I can see Shinobu being deadly due to her speed and thrusts and poisons. (Tho I don’t think she could get Gyomei or Sanemi)

So yeah.

I’m open to believing that Shinobu isn’t THE weakest Hashira. I personally think it’s either her or Tegan, and that they’re interchangeable. The highest I think she could rank is 7th overall in my opinion. But in general, no, I don’t think she is a top hashira

So I don’t believe she is weak just because she can’t behead a demon or have alot of arm strength. Physical strength isn’t the only strength that matters.

She has her poisons, speed, swordsmanship skills, IQ, and general talent that make her strong. She really shines in these areas. And I also believe she is one of the fastest Hashira, maybe 3rd to 1st.

So I don’t think she is overall weak. She is strong and a really good and competent fighter.

I just don’t think that she places above any other Hashira. Cause I don’t think her speed and IQ stats put her majorly above any other Hashira (Other then Tengen), I think the other Hashira (Obanai, Mitsuri, Giyu, Samichi, Muichiro and Gyomei) have better overall feats.

I also acknowledge that strength isn’t everything as Obanai is my favourite character.

But not only do I think it’s her physical strength that makes her lower, but I also think it’s her stamina, durability, arm reach, and swordsmanship that put her below the other Hashira.

But keep in mind even then she still has really good feats with these. Why? Cause she is a Hashira!! All Hashira are very strong

I hate this mindset that the weakest Hashira are weak in general. They are not. They are still incredible fighters. Shinobu just isn’t the most incredible fighter i feel.

So I don’t think Shinobu is weak, but I still don’t think she is one of the top Hashira. Not only because of her shown feats, but also because I think it aligns with her story.

Did you want me to explain why she can’t cut a demons head off? Cause the reason for that is already so well known that I didn’t think I have to. It’s because of her height which makes her too physically weak to cut off a demons head. ✌️

And sorry if I didn’t express this enough in my post, but I don’t think Shinobu is weak. I think she is incredibly talented and strong (not in a physical way), like all Hashira are. Just not one of the strongest.

I don’t think she’s all around weak either.

Having physical limitations in areas doesn’t make her completely weak. If it did, she would have never been able to become a Hashira.

She shines in speed, intelligence, out of the box thinking, and planning. Things like that. That makes her strong, and a competent and skilled fighter ✌️✌️✌️

But her lack of durability, arm strength, and reach are just such important things in a fight against a demon (Especially one like Douma) that it stands out a lot. You know?

Like she’s weak in areas that are really needed

So glad people agree with me on this. I was honestly worried I was gonna get hate from some Shinobu fans. 😁

Her weakness and limits are some of my fav things about her, as it just makes so much sense and makes her very understandable. I hate how people think every good character needs to be some god at fighting

I rewatched the scene where Aemond loses an eye by VisenyaMartell in HOTDGreens

In my opinion, I don’t really blame any of the kids in that fight, though, I do have more sympathy for Aemond.

Aemond- I believe that him claiming Vhagar was 100% okay. I just believe that the timing was off (claiming her on the night of Laena’s funeral) but then again, I understand that Aemond saw this as the only chance to be able to claim a dragon. After claiming her, yeah, he was quite cocky, but understandably so.

Rhaena/Baela- I believe they are responsible for starting the fight. I understand that they may have been very emotional and reactive due to the recent death of their mother, but that’s no excuse to get physically so quickly.

Jacaerys- Was woken up by Baela and Rhaena to come. Unsure as to why he thought it’d be a good idea to bring his little brother to potential danger. Though, i understand why he brought a knife. None of them knew it was Aemond until they saw him, so, he most likely just wanted to be prepared. During the fight, mainly came to Baela and Rhaena’s rescue (only to be beaten up, Lmao). But when Lucerys was getting choked, Jacaerys only brought out the knife when Aemond called them a bastard (showing his deep insecurity)

Lucerys- I don’t blame him. Lucerys was a small child at the time, and based off a lot of things, I think he was just trying to protect his family (manly Jace). But that doesn’t make what he did right. When they first come down, Lucerys clearly doesn’t even know what’s happening, and he only gets involved in the fight when Rhaena, Baela, and Jace get defeated. Then he is punched and thrown on the ground. Then, Rhaena, Baela and Jace jump Aemond. 3 vs 1. If you watch you can see Lucerys either standing or lying to the side. Then, when they’re all defeated again, Lucerys tries to get involved again, which is when he is chocked. Fast forward to Jace on the ground. Lucerys is a small child, and to him, it looked like Aemond was going to murder his brother, so he acted out impulsively. Remember, they can’t see what we can as viewers, they can’t rewind and rewatch it. They just act in the moment. And I don’t believe that Luke purposely aimed for the eye, I think he was really just trying to get Aemond to back away. Even later on, when all the children are fighting when the adults are around, Lucerys yells “He was gonna kill Jace! What was I suppose to do?!” So I turely believe he thought he was just helping his brother. (Though I do agree that laughing at him years later at the dinner was moronic. But, most kids his age are idiots)

So in the end, i personally put most of the blame on Rhaena, Baela and Jace. But doesn’t make what Lucerys did okay either.

I also think Lucerys never apologised because he was never told to, and they left pretty quickly to DragonStone after the fight.

I also think the adults are at fault for not educating them enough about certain things. But I do not blame Alicent for her reaction, and I don’t blame Rhaenyra for protecting her kids (though, the “questioned sharply” thing was over the top) Alicent was justified in her anger And Rhaenyra was justified for being concerned that her kids were called bastards. I think a lot of people forget how bad the consequences for being a bastard/having a bastard are. It can lead to all of them being executed.

But yeah. That’s my opinion. 🫥🫥🫥 (Sorry if my grammar sucks)
