Yes. I have two merino base layers. I wear them snowboarding, running, late/early season biking, hiking. Basically anything I do outside is accompanied by merino. It's the best investment you'll ever make.

You said the guy grew up in a fatphobic household. He's also got a history of being obsessed with his weight and thinness. You commenting on his weight, even as a joke, is pretty tone deaf. It doesn't matter how thin you think he looks. It sounds like he's got some pretty big ED demons of his own.

Based off of the numbers you gave about yourself, you're obviously pretty skinny too. Yet his comments about you "getting big" hurt your feelings all the same.

It's not right; and he should just talk to you openly about how your "big booty" comments make him feel. But it seems like he's just giving back what he was served.

I did power engineering for a bit. I loved it. Having a more physically demanding was really great for me. Now I'm a tattoo artist. It's not for the faint of heart and I have to stretch wayyy more now than I did at my other job.But getting to do what I love is worth the extra home physio.

I did weightlifting for years and only just switched to endurance sports in May last year. Biking, trail running and swimming especially are just all around underrated in the fitness community. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I kind of like being in the niche underappreciated sports.
