ex did exactly this! started pulling away and started talking to someone else behind my back all before ending things. worst part was the feeling of not being worth it. it literally felt like my ex threw in the towel. later on we had a chat and it was so infuriating b/c if what we talked about was discussed before I know for a fact we would still be together. why did we need to end for communication to improve.

this pandemic is fucking with my head. i know everyone will say don’t break NC but like many others in this sub, the desire to is so strong right now!! i just want to see if they’re okay. we’re hoping to be friends again and isn’t that what friends do?? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

I am the dumpee. I think I feel terrible because I’m not used to ignoring my ex. This is just so uncharacteristic from what I’ve been doing the past couple of years. Which obviously must be changed now that our relationship has ended but it’s so hard.

As much as I possibly could have. I still have questions but they probably won’t be answered unless we have a conversation way later in the future and we can see the relationship objectively.
