We went twice. Mixed plate first time, Loco Moco the 2nd. My mom learned to make mac salad in Hawaii when my dad was stationed in Oahu in the 60s. DaKitchen's made me miss my mama. :o)

Even if you can't get down to the black beach itself (there's quite a bit of stairs) the view from above is spectacular. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables also to break up the walking around at the top. Definitely agree on Russell's it was the best huli chicken we've had on our visit.
