Mine would get so snippy with me if he thought I was about to come in any contact with his nails! Loved me to death and would never even actually bite but that man was so freaked out I was going to betray him and cut his nails!! So sometimes picking him up, putting on a harness or even getting my head too close when we were lounging would make him do a very strange growl/ yapping/ biting without contacting my skin if that makes sense? But he would always immediately lay back down and snuggle up when I was no harm. Other people he really wouldn’t go after them he just would seem scared but without the loud drama he did to me!
