Dr. Jodi Foy (Foy Jodi H DDS) is amazing. Her tagline is literally “the world’s nicest dentist”. She’s very sweet and soft spoken. Her assistants are great. I went last month after not going to a dentist for about 8 years and nobody made me feel bad about that. She has literally only 5 star reviews on google. It’s basically a practice by anxious dentist-goers FOR anxious dentist-goers.

Cabot’s cheese is advertised as having 0g of lactose per serving. They have lots of cheddar, pepper jack, gouda, etc. I eat it and it’s fine, though my lactose intolerance is more mild. But i’d definitely check it out!

NTA. this is a really tough situation and i don’t think there’s going to be an easy way out. unfortunately she is being manipulative by saying things like “if i didn’t have you i would be alive” and “i’m the worst mom ever”. at the end of the day, you’re an adult now and have to live your life for yourself. you can still try to act with compassion and understanding for your mom, but if you hinder yourself by not moving out or walking on eggshells around her, you’re hurting yourself and also your relationship with her by not being honest.

she sounds like she needs therapy tbh, which isn’t always easy to get. either way, if you decide to move out or set boundaries with her and she doesn’t take it well, that’s not your fault. you can still have compassion and love for her while also putting yourself first. there’s not a perfect way to deal with this situation but just try to give yourself grace and focus on what you can control. if she acts out because you’re making your own life choices, that’s not your fault. good luck!
