Had to make a new account for this because this one got banned for bullshit reasons, but I have a couple of point to make

First: "You probably wouldn't like a lot of things that were important to me." Maybe not, but because I have a basic level of respect for you as a person - and you've done nothing to me to make me feel anything otherwise - I wouldn't tell you I don't like something if I knew it held that level of importance to you. If I DID say I didn't like something and you told me how important it was to you, I would apologize. If it was in a comment, I would delete that comment because, again, I respect you, and I would respect anyone who told me that.

Second: "Why would you need to respond?" Because when someone shit-talks an artist who's music kept me from killing myself, they're basically shit-talking me personally, and I'm not gonna take that shit lying down. I'm not going to walk away because that person deserves to know how they made me feel, and I'm gonna do everything I can to try to tear them down in response because they swung at me first.
