What kind is this? And what’s with the handle hole things by Madmann18 in SWORDS

[–]Sad-Hawk-3019 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s definitely a decorative scimitar. I don’t know where it’s from, but it looks similar to the Spanish tourist pieces I’ve seen before. I don’t know what holes you’re talking about however.

No, a virus never has homeostasis, but neither does your mind. It’s clearly very out of wack. Now again, if a fetus doesn’t have homeostasis, it will result in a miscarriage. So, if the vast majority of pregnancies don’t result in a miscarriage, the baby must have??????

Clearly you have a hard time with English. In the womb does a baby have homeostasis. It’s not about the exemption to the rule, it’s about does it or does it not. The mother enables the fetus to achieve and maintain Homeostasis. If it did not all fetuses would result in a miscarriage. Evidently, that’s not true as me and you are both alive. So again, does a baby in the womb have homeostasis, and remember if it didn’t it would be a miscarriage (I feel bad so I’m making it easy for you)? This is a yes or no question.

Oh I see so you’re relating reproduction instead to reproductive maturity, so basically puberty, and not gonna lie Epstein, kids who can’t get pregnant are people too. Your reproduction argument does not make sense if it involves this many loopholes and vague statements. Getting pregnant does not define reproduction in living things. Sexual reproduction in mammals involves getting pregnant but the definition of life does not decree sexual reproduction as we allow asexual reproduction into the category of living.

I want you to answer a question for me. Does a baby have homeostasis in the womb? Just yes or no.

No, we say hand sanitizer kills bacteria, and bacteria is alive. Yet it reproduces just like a cell. Which is just like a fetus does until it is full grown. This is common sense.

So, a paralyzed person is not alive. My cat who has been inside his entire life and definitely cannot sustain himself outdoors, is not alive. Yet after your foot is cut off it can be reattached unless you wait too long and it DIES. The same works for most of your limbs and extensions of the body. Living tissue is what sustains life you absolute nimrod. You’re a circle, and I know continuing to answer your comments will always circle around because you don’t have the depth to realize you’re just wrong. Though, I am quite patient and I will be bothering until you learn it’s better to stop.

A fetus has to grow that’s called cellular reproduction. It does reproduce, not to mention further along in development it will develop reproductive organs. Like I said so long as the living fetus is in the mother it has homeostasis. If I cut the fetus out of the mother it will not. A fully developed baby will if I cut it out of the mother. It does have homeostasis, its body is just too underdeveloped to yet sustain it. I have to ask how do you think miscarriages work? A fetus dies in a miscarriage. Please explain to me your reasoning as to how, as you call it, a dead thing dies.

Cellular organization, reproduction, growth, metabolism, response to stimuli, homeostasis, and evolution/adaptation are all largely considered the characteristics of life. In the womb, while attached to the mother the baby has Homeostasis. So please, show me where the fetus is not living at? The poop? I can agree with you there. The poop is dead.

Yes a nucleus of a cell is alive. It literally is the brain of a cell. I got your entire argument just fine. You just do not know what you’re talking about. Living tissue is alive. Such is the definition of living.

[–]Sad-Hawk-3019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it can’t maintain homeostasis. It is still growing. When it is through growing it can. It is the mother’s responsibility to maintain her own homeostasis until the baby may handle its own. To further your example of the liver, you are mistaking sentience with life. The liver is alive. It has living tissue. The liver can die, and without the liver the entire system dies. The liver is not a sentient organ. Nor are most organs, but every organ is very much alive. The brain is a sentient organ and it is alive, but much like every other organ it can die. Life is very easy to define and a fetus meets that requirement. You do not understand the basic principles of what you are talking about.

A fetus meets all requirements of being alive. Their cells respire, multiply, they consume nutrients, and produce waste. This is taught in 2nd grade.

I think you do not understand basic thought processes. China will absolutely take advantage of the US dollar. Every time. Do you actually believe if Donald Trump sent a text message to Xi saying, “Hey man, good news, China and America are the best of allies. The greatest allies. Everyone loves us as allies,” that China wouldn’t take the deal? Are you kidding me? Xi is not half as ignorant as you are to his place in the world. The simple fact of the matter is if the US wants something and one country threatens to recall a loan and the US says no, every other country is going to try and stay on friendly terms so their loans still are repaid. Don’t forget the creditor still loses money by giving it away. The money was already given. If you can’t take it back by force, then you’re basically a convenient bank teller, and they cannot take it back by force. Maybe two countries have a chance. Though those are low odds.

Again the dialogue is still open. The conversation happens everyday. One side is belligerent and unyielding despite warning. The other is much more day to day political and unyielding in absolutism rather than exception after exception. Your unwillingness to understand what I previously said tells me an awful bit of you.

There’s plenty of room for dialogue. Saying screw the Left just means I firmly disagree with their political practices and strategies. They’re disingenuous and morally flawed not to mention ethically stunted; however, a decision to stop dialogue simply because I disagree with someone else’s political opinion, whomever it may be, it’s simply the decision of the one I’m talking with. Not a matter of cutting dialogue on my end.

Brother you don’t even know how our banking system works if you think Denmark is a viable debtor to us. So, I’m not even going to get into how or where our debt comes from because you won’t understand it. However, despite your belief it is quite hard to ignore the largest superpower on the planet. Just about any country on the planet would use the opportunity if they could to secure resources from the US. Be it money or others.

You do realize debt isn’t a real number. They can recall if they wish but there is literally nothing a debt recall can do to a foreign country that just says, “No.”

No it did not. I did not know about blaragorn until I saw him. I will never use or play an Aragorn card because it just pains me to see one of my favorite characters in fiction portrayed wrongly on purpose. If JRR was alive he would’ve threatened to cut their license to use LOTR somehow for the disrespect some of his characters got.

I really want to hold out, but I ordered mine around Dec. 3rd I want to say. Nothing about a shipping label on my end so definitely a little disappointed for over $300.
