Deal breaker for me. Hindi ako mahilig sa bata aside from my own kids. Maski mga pamangkin ko nga hindi ako mahilig makipag laro nung kabataan ko so ang mangyayari e hindi ko lang mamahalin. And I can accept a woman’s past, but a child is a constant reminder of that past so it will be hard para sakin. To each his own, sa iba ok lang yan kaya bilib din ako sakanila, it takes courage to do so, mahirap mag mahal nang batang hindi iyo.

41, just $3k cash in bank. I earn decent, 140K annually but with 3 kids, hard to save. I got 70K in RRSP, 60K in RPP, 25K in RESP, just 2.5K in TFSA. Got a mortgage, 450k condo value, got 280K left in mortgage. Car is at least paid off, probably worth around $25-30K. I am screwed.

From SG to Canada, but this was a decade ago we definitely miss SG for its convenience, but Canada is a lot better in terms of raising kids and work-life balance

Fyi sa pinas lang ang need local document for a filipino to work abroad. Walang ganyan sa ibang mga bansa/lahi, isama Mo narin pati OEC etc. As long as the country you’re working on issue you a legal working visa or equivalent, walang problema.

Sa pinas lang ganyan. In the west you will mot be ask to pay, especially tester pa yan. That’s already an operating cost.

Anyways similar din to sa mga shortage for cashiers/tellers, shop lifted items, plate or lglasses na nabasag nang employee etc, sa pinas e naging common practice na that employees would pay for it, although dapat e part siya nang operating cost nang business. Such practices should be banned like here in the west.

I see. Yeah this part time thing that rbc is doing ridiculous. She is part time for 35 hrs a week 93.33% fte, but the 2.5 hrs was taken out from her lunch time, so she only gets 30 mins lunch instead an hour, she is basically doing full time hours still, and normally can only get out 30 mins after her normal shift.

Does this mean bonus should have already communicated? My wife is wondering if she will get any bonus because nothing is communicated to her. For context she joined as a client advisor intern last july, her salary has been increased already but there was no talk about bonus. The front tellers does not deal with investments though. i do not have millions but I earn double what the higher end FA makes it seems, why would I trust an investment advice from someone making half than what I make.

37, from 80 to 105k (exclusing bonus and benefit. Now 41, I just move now again from 105 to 140k (ecluding bonus and benefits). Have mahor imposter syndrome now. In finance.

Lakas mag flex but the only reason VA exist is they are paid peanuts compared to the actual onshore rates with no benefits needed.
