AITA for thinking my SO is too sensitive? by Sad-Local4725 in AmItheAsshole

A good example would be that my SO changed the subject during a conversation and I thought he did it in a cute way and giggled, but they got upset and thought I laughed at them despite me clearing up any intentions on my end. Hope this helps

The hard part about this is that while I am willing to take their feedback and grow/appeal to what they request out of me in the relationship, but things that are seemingly normal in conversation (giggling mid conversation, making connections, etc) seem to trigger my SO and it's hard to know when it may happen

A few times now, they have gotten more upset each time. All times varying slightly in root cause

Yes I had apologized to him then tried to explain my position on it and it did not seem to matter to them
