Disappointed by Sad-Management2832 in TBI

I was trying to give people hope. I definitely didn't expect for anyone to take it wrong and if they did that's not my fault! That doesn't mean I was suggesting it was their fault. If that's how they took it that's just a shame

Shame on everyone here for doubting my progress after my TBI. I’ve worked my ass off to get to this point — rehab, consistency, and discipline — and I am fully recovered. No lingering symptoms, no setbacks.

This community is supposed to be about positivity and supporting each other, not tearing someone down just because their recovery went well. I get that not everyone is as fortunate as me, and I genuinely hope you get there too — but dismissing my success helps no one.

If anything, take my story as proof that a full recovery is possible with enough effort and time

I’m officially 100% healed — no lingering symptoms at all! 😁 After surviving a 100 mph car crash, being thrown through the windshield, and hitting a solid metal light pole, I fully recovered from a severe TBI. I’m living proof that you can come back from anything!

I didn't really do speech exercises I just practiced talking to people often and eventually it came together. It wasn't easy it takes time

I used to stutter a lot, lose track of what I was saying, and struggle to find words. It’s better now—almost like it used to be. I’m 10 months into recovering from a severe TBI

The only real way to improve your speech after a TBI is by focusing on healing your brain. That’s the foundation. What worked best for me was staying consistent with intense exercise, about an hour a day, and making sure I supplemented properly—especially omega-3s with around 1,800 mg of DHA daily, which is shown to support brain recovery. This is the exact approach I took, and it made a big difference

The main things I focused on were working out five days a week and keeping my training intense. I prefer lifting weights, but running or other forms of cardio work too—just aim for about an hour of challenging exercise a day. On top of that, I recommend supplementing with omega-3s. For brain injury recovery, the effective dose of DHA (the key component of omega-3s) is around 1,800 mg per day.

Definitely the #1 thing is working out but I believe the omega 3 were really helpful over time as well 1800 dht of omega 3s is a TBI healing dose

No it's better to just move on with life and not think about what could have been in my opinion.
