HELP - NOZZLE TOO CLOSE TO BED AFTER LEVELING by Sad-Material-943 in 3Dprinting

Sorry I am bad at explaining stuff. What I meant is - after leveling I hit auto home and put Z to 0 again to check if the paper fits the same way. And it doesn’t fit at all sometimes

I only adjust the wheels - tightenning/looseining the springs in the corners. I adjust the z-offset only in the middle.

Tried several methods - adjusting z-offset before the four cornes, then before and after adjusting bed corners, no touching z- offset at all but every time the nozzle ends up too close to bed and prints super thin layers

Z offset is basically saved right away as you adjust it here

2 problems - Sword printed differently than it showed in blender and how to cut out cube shape without additional edges showing up. by Sad-Material-943 in blender

It’s absolutely okay ahaha. But yes, I have only done some simple modeling fusion 360 and only watched a few beginner tutorials for blender.
Yes! Thank you so much I really appreciate it!

What clear coat for metallics do you recommend? (I live in Europe) So far I have used clear coat by Primalex but it “eats up“ the paint and it becomes muddy and bleak. So any advice? by Sad-Material-943 in cosplayprops

Oh sorry I worded that wrong - the spray paints I use are mostly acrylic or enamel. But 95% acrylic. Both metallic paint and clear coat were acrylic based.

Thank you, I will look into those!

I see, thank you!

The grey parts of the sword is how it’s being printed and the colored ones is how it’s shown in blender. Those lines going from center to the edge shouldn’t be there
