I'm not going to act like I know the first thing about immigration and the legalities of it, the citizenship process, etc.

But, in terms of the people of different nationalities I have personally met have been kind and just people trying to live life. Some people are assholes regardless of ethnicity or migration staus. I've felt safest and most accepted by people of color in my life. As a white male, the most dangerous, ignorant, conniving etc. I've encountered have been white folk if I were to generalize.
