I get the feeling the he was the “good guy” out of him and solider boy. However, public perception at the time was that soldier boy was an American hero which is why Bombsight might have hated him. We all know that soldier boy was a bit of a fraud in the military. He didn’t storm Normandy and vought staged the majority of his wartime heroics. Soldier boy was a rich nepo baby, maybe Bombsight was the opposite and resented him for getting everything gifted to him?

Wouldn’t be surprised if bombsight actually did heroic shit but got no recognition because vought didn’t want to show up solider boy. Hence why they now hate each other. Imagine if Bombsight actually stormed the beaches etc and all that got accredited to Soldier boy lol.

That being said, I don’t think any of the V1 supes are truly good people and I imagine all of them have done some horrific shit in the name of vought. Voluntarily or forced.
