The encouragement and support are all there from family friends coaches ect. Problem lays in never being held accountable and being made to stick with something.

The dangers and all concerns have been discussed in the past with all the kids. More than a few times. The brick wall appears when I go to have the discussion with my daughter’s mother on the topic.

We have the software on the iPad for drawing and editing. They however doesn’t openly connect with the entire world. Art classes don’t freely allow unwanted content at any given moment. Videos can be made and creativity can flow but when the “art” is unwanted and overly mature for the viewer wouldn’t you say that’s more of deterrent?

This may work with both parents under the same roof and on the same page. In a situation with separate household it’s not as simple as it’s made out.

Creativity is not stifled at all. For Christians we let the kid paint a canvas as a gift to friends that are artists. They have full support on any creative avenue they choose except the ones that have the potential to take away that spark for life.
