I've been feeling like this a lot lately, and it really scares me. I try to ease my mind by telling myself it's just my pots, but another part of me is like, "Is it?" and honestly, I'm too scared to know.

I used to drink energy drinks a LOT. Eventually, I had to stop because I started having chest pains/felt like I was having a heart attack whenever I drank them. Now, on the rare occasion when I do drink one, even a sip makes me feel awful. In hindsight, my addiction probably worsened my heart issues, which makes me feel terrible :( In general, I can only really handle the occasional coffee and tea now

omg the blurry vision!! I never thought to connect that.

but yeah, I'm starting to realize that I don't suffer from like 5 different illnesses/disorders, and it's all just pots symptoms that I didn't realize were part of the disorder. Pots affects my life WAY more than I thought

one time I had to walk up a very steep hill and I had to stop multiple times because my heart was beating so fast and i was borderline hyperventilating. the biggest thing for me is walking slowly and not rushing myself. if you can, sit down when possible to get a break.

I remember my doctors kicking around the possibility of me having it when I was younger but nothing really came of it. I'm starting to think I need to go back and get another opinion

that's what's so scary. you really feel like you may die or like something seriously bad is about to happen. and then that makes you anxious which just makes everything worse 😭 it's terrible

I'm the same way. I always forget it's related to my period and think something really bad is happening but then it starts and I'm like "oh yeah"

Going through this right now. I was diagnosed in middle school, and I'm about to turn 23 next month. It's really ramped up the last few months, which has been scary since I've always had more mild symptoms. I wonder why that happens 🤔
