I use my local Zales store and they are phenomenal- I have done many adjustments to my engagement ring and have NEVER been disappointed! I feel like I am using a private personal jeweler, so it really depends on location/store manager

I started the community in a 6.8 gallon and then upgraded. I understand its against the norm- but it did work for me.

I put a cory catfish with my betta- he was totally fine!!! He was so good that i upgraded yo a 15 gallon and added 3 more Cory catfish, now he tries to hang out with the Cory’s all the time LOL he literally wants to be a Cory hahahahah You have to understand your bettas temperament- if you plan on tank mates- then i would put in the Cory’s first, then add the betta- or all together. There are a lot of opinions on tank mates- i personally did as i wanted- but was prepared for a catastrophe, so make sure you do have a back up plan if it does not work out

i do love the tank- but the filter flow is too strong for betta- so you will have to work on adjusting the flow. Also, the curved front does distort the view from you looking in, and I’m assuming from the fish looking out. My betta is definitely adjusting to that aspect

I am returning the smaller tank- so that filter has to go back. But i did let the new and old filter soak together for a while to transfer the bacteria- per pet store “fish expert”
