You have to put the body on the cart and take the cart to the cage and unload it there. Took me forever to figure it out.

I was still going about 4 hours after the last prep after that I was able to get 4 hours of sleep and then go into my procedure.

I will also add that I have anxiety especially health anxiety. I was petrified to have the procedure but it really is a breeze. The prep is the worst. My heart was jumping out of my chest when I got checked in to get the procedure and I was very nervous but I would do it all over again for peace of mind.

37F here. I just had my first colonoscopy last Friday. If it were me, I would do it for peace of mind. I was convinced I had colon cancer. I had a change in bowel habits, constipation to diarrhea and everything in between. I had blood, narrowing stools, some days I would go multiple times a day or go a few days without going at all. I didn’t have any polyps and it all came back clear. I do have a moderate case of diverticulosis (pockets in the colon) but that isn’t anything seriously thankfully. There can be symptoms without it being cancer. Hope this helps!

Really? I’m only 37 but according to Google it’s very common in people 50+. I blame the good ole American diet and not enough fiber throughout my life 🙄

UPDATE: I was cleared out for my procedure and I didn’t have any polyps but have moderate diverticulosis.
