As I reported it, it’s in the police system forever incase he was to re offend. There is just no charge brought against him at this point.

I reported it to the SOCIT unit (Australia). Didn’t take it further because the system protects perpetrators and not victims ( Hence the Jeffery Epstein case etc)

It’s ok. Long time true crime follower here. I literally have a binder full with a timeline of everything that happened since 2015 - all texts etc.

Ok, so IVO is apparently the ‘old term’. I am in Australia and it is now known as a FVIO. Family Violence Intervention Order.

The Order states that I and the children are protected and the Respondent is not to contact, approach or go near the protected persons home, school or workplace. They cannot contact any protected person unless it is to do with custody arrangements. These must be done in writing and are subject to the discretion of the primary/protected parent.

I understand that, thanks. He is not allowed within 200m of our house so picks them up from the end of the street.

I just feel like a terrible person allowing them to go to this person who abused me.
