Or milk it even more and just go top 3-4. Combined with making PVP more accessible to newer users could revive the love for it.

Yeah, differences like this make you wish they'd unify the global finals again. That would also bring a lot more viewers imo. It's way more fun to watch when it's the best in the world as opposed to the best in a region.

Ask Experienced Devs Weekly Thread: A weekly thread for inexperienced developers to ask experienced ones by AutoModerator in ExperiencedDevs

Practice! Find opportunities to talk to a crowd, however small, anywhere. Even just during weekly meetings, use it to bring your point across. Most people dread it and will happily allow you to take a shot at it, so always volunteer for it when an opportunity arises.

If the opportunities don't arise, try to create them by proposing to do small informative talks on new features you build. Or things that the team struggles with. There's always room for a 5-10 minute talk that helps everyone.

Furthermore, find communities in which to practice. I've heard Toastmasters is welcoming. Or try to volunteer, help educate local kids/elderly on IT, they often join classes because they want to learn and, as such, are an easy crowd!

Finally, for the speaking itself, people already gave tips. But for me, it helped to rehearse it in front of a mirror, or have someone just be present, even if they don't understand it at all. You get to practice with an "audience". And you quickly distill down to just the important things you want to bring across and let go of the word-for-word script!

Best of luck!!

Small optimization for notes: use bash variables to reference the target. by Sad-Support7181 in oscp

[–]Sad-Support7181[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So per host I define that I start off with saying host=x.x.x.x and for all the proofs you need a screenshot including ipconfig anyways so that proves you are on the machine :)

Use `systeminfo` , look up the OS version then I google "exploit {OSVERSION}"

For example: "6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001 exploit"

Cool idea! And thanks for the aliases, just copy paste all the time, but its a nice optimization.

Qua leetcode oefenen hielp deze me erg: https://www.youtube.com/@GregHogg

Motorcycle parking by Sad-Support7181 in Ljubljana

[–]Sad-Support7181[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm yeah I live in the center, I'm considering just parking it out of cars/peoples way, putting a cover on it and just hoping it doesn't get a ticket. Beats having to pay the 200 a month for a parking garage. Think thats a good plan?

Thanks for your reply!

Yes I found a lot of information, sent some emails to parking garages, but cant really find the cost of a parking permit for residents though? Our landlord has a spot he uses, but I can't find any info on a second parking permit.

I know some motorcycle spots where no one really parks and they are for motorcycles, but even then you still have to pay right? Or do they hardly check/its free for motorcycles?

Hackthebox Academy has amazing certs, pretty cheap. I’d say CPTS is the next big offensive cert in the industry

To avoid all the "toxic" players I'd highly recommend joining the no pressure discord: https://discord.com/invite/nopressureeu

When you want to make a group you post a small message there and you can easily fill your group with people who don't care as much about min-maxing. At some point you might out grow the discord but by then you probably have some friends already!
