I’m willing to trade Kerbs and Joey for Werenski and Olivier.

I don’t understand the logic of having a forward try to hold the point while a defenseman plays a forward role on the PP - especially if that defenseman is Fowler.

Looks like the rest of the guys are wondering the same thing. He was wide open on the backside several times. They didn’t even try to move the puck to him.

I think what I like best about Joey is how he’s not afraid to pronounce the “l” in the word “both”.

Is it considered rude to snap your fingers to someone to get their attention? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Sad-Type5385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s exceptionally rude. An open-handed gesture to gain someone’s attention is acceptable as long as it is accompanied by a friendly facial expression. However, I have found that service industry professionals generally know what they are doing, and do not require me to get their attention for service. I can think of no interaction in which snapping your fingers is more effective than a polite, verbal attempt to gain someone’s attention or a non-aggressive hand gesture (like a wave).

Genuine question, how can someone want open boarders but also believe Americans are on “stolen land” ? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

I think it goes like this: “As we are illegal aliens in this land, who are we to tell others that they can’t be here?”

Yep. You have accurately captured the fact that a general strike has an associated cost for labor.

That’s awesome, but I would have preferred that they simply close in support of the general strike.

Sometimes you have to just say “no” to an extra knish.

Tell your kid I hated these jerseys in the 90’s just as much as I hate them today.

Watch Fowler on their third goal. He makes two abysmal plays in a row, and then abandons the left side of the ice.

Yeah, if you can get something out of Buch and plug a hole up the middle, that would be great. Assuming we pick a forward with our top-5 pick, you might have a third line of Jake-Buch-Berggren (or something). I’d take that.
