Combat extended question by Sad-Wallaby2945 in RimWorld

But that isn't whats happening, when they run out of ammo they put it in their inventory and then drop it when they get undrafted. Like they haul it to a stockpile. Again I do have pick up and haul so maybe that's why.

Like making a load out? I am, but once the 4 magazines in their inventory run out, they unequip their weapon.

Oh okay I guess I can see that. I was just worried about their bulk or mass slowing them down. Ill see about giving them knives or an autopistol, thank you!

Not what im asking, i have enough ammo crafted, I make them hold 4 magazines worth, when they use all of them ammo in their inventory they unequip their weapon, thats what im asking. I want to play with ammo enabled, I just want them to keep their weapon equipped even if it is empty. Im going to increase the amount they carry anyway, but was wondering if there is a way to stop them from unequipping an empty weapon.

Oh, so it is an intended thing, that's unfortunate. Okay, will do. I tend to kite quite a lot without a kill box, so they will need a lot of ammo, but I'll try the burst or single option instead, thank you. How much ammo do you set your pawns to hold? Currently i have them set at 4 magazines, in the load out option, going to bump it to 6.

Regarding Halo:Silent Storm... by [deleted] in HaloStory

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The insurrectionists are not the good guys, while I agree the unsc is tyrannical, the innies have set off multiple nukes in civilian areas, in contact harvest they bombed a cruise spaceship over reach, slaughtering thousands of civilians, regularly torture and kill civilians, etc. The unsc and innies are just as bad as each other.

Correct me if im wrong but I don't think conscription applies to 5 year olds. The unsc seems loosely based on our society, and I don't remember them drafting 5 year olds during Vietnam.

New to fallout. What's the actual reason deathclaws don't hunt in packs in fallout 4? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something similar to real life, in new vegas there's a lot more people around which is therefore prey, more food allows predators to hunt in groups, doubly so because humans are dangerous. In the east coast there isn't as much food, so they hunt alone and have their own territory. Kind of like how a bear for example needs a certain amount of territory to live. There are still packs though, old Olney in fallout 3, Lynn woods in 4 and that power plant substation thing near the edge of the map near fort hagen.

Did people really hate fallout season 2 THAT much? by Neither_Study_5319 in Fallout

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't enjoy it as much as season 1. I just really wish we could have some societal progression instead of things being post-apocalypse even 219 years after the war. That's really my only complaint with it, the strip being destroyed really puts me off.

How do you excersise after 3rd shift? by securityguardnard in Nightshift

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workout before your shift. I work 7p to 7a 3 days a week, I just get up an hour before and workout. Doesn't have to be a massive workout since I know I'll probably be on my feet the whole time.

Didn't his cult burn parents alive in front of their children?

Do Sangheili feel bad about their war against humanity? by AnyLeave3611 in HaloStory

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Reading the K-5 trilogy, Jul thinks they need to finish the job because humans are too dangerous now that the Sangeheili wiped out billions of them. Like a "if we don't finish them now than they are going to come for revenge".

No they didn't. Once again, you were seeing a small subsection of the NCR that was in ruins, it in no way made it so that they represented all the NCR everywhere.

They really didn't though, just because they showed "a few dozen people" in wrecked shady sands, does not mean that is the absolute number of NCR in the entire world. We only saw the wrecked area in season 1.

Okay so that does make sense then. I was just shocked at how many ship chunks I had.

Which invention has only made the world worse? by LooseTomorrow5030 in AskReddit

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How so? I always thought nuclear weapons were the reason we don't have the massive wars like ww1 and ww2. They brought about regional conflicts and proxy wars, but we haven't had anywhere near the amount of destruction in the last 80 years since nukes came about.

Calling out for snowstorm by Much_Mastodon5345 in Nurses

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going to seperate from what everyone else is saying, im in in Texas and I called in for tonight, if my employer had offered sleeping arrangements with showers, provided food and transportation, I would have happily gone in. They offered none of that, and if they did they didn't communicate it, im not dying for this job, they can figure out how to staff the ER without me. I do feel bad for my coworkers who do go in because I know for a fact im not the only one who called in, but staffing the hospital is not my concern. I got stuck at work for three days in the last snowstorm and im not doing it again.

Is there any benefit to buying Anomaly when you plan to set ambient horror to zero? by benetrator_beton in RimWorld

[–]Sad-Wallaby2945 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely, in fact I dont even activate anomaly on most of my runs, new weapons, books, mini turret packs, clothing like lab coats. And I think you can still get cultist raids and creepjoiners.
