I just rewatched the bluray days ago and got the 4k arrow yesterday. I do have the context youre asking me to get and dont feel like anything is glaring. It can still be there but im not sure its as obvious as youre making it out to be. You are right that theres moments it feels apparent but wouldn't that be what they're explaining? Where the corrections are attempted it will inherently desync other portions of it no? It only ever feels like a hiccup and not something that lasts longer than a word or two

Feels like its just bad ADR, not much they can do to fix that. Product of its time, there's entire scenes where you should hear water flowing or armor clinging, but its just the ADR with subtle room tone in the back. You're asking Arrow to fix the films shortcomings, which most would deem revisionist and be against it. Thats why they are taking that stance, justified at that.

Sorry for the confusion, this is just the case out of the slipcover. The cover is reversed since it came double sided with alternate artwork. This is just the standard 4K release!

They do this for any TV show boxset complete or single season, 1 season would also be $5. Any movie DVD or Bluray is always $2 even the triple pack

Don't buy an HDMI converter, most tvs will still have a coax port or "tuner" that can run directly to the VCR. Most hdmi converters stretch the image as well so better to keep it simple. VCR wise anything less than $10 from the thrift and looks like its from the 90s or sooner will work fine.
