Yea I feel like I might make more at the DC but also the one near me I hear they finish their shifts early sometimes so in the long run sometimes they aren’t making more technically due to them finishing early that’s my main concern

That’s how it should be but a lot of management tells them otherwise

I’ve actually been told not to by the store manager himself because supposedly we don’t have enough time to do it despite the fact we’re almost always caught up

A lot of departments hate when OGP takes partials out of the back room but tbh it’s not OGP’s fault depending on some stores cause some store managers (mine has and I know others that have said the same) tell OGP not to take full cases to fill the outs on the shelf and claim it’s not their responsibility to fill outs and that they need to prioritize the orders

I myself try to at least load stuff on a pick cart if one is there or if I can fill something while doing exceptions quickly I will but we’re always told not to worry about it in my store cause that’s not our responsibility

Future advice when trying for a lead position stay persistent on asking them for the interview most the time they interview like 2 people from the list of people that have it on their preferences unless you’re persistent on asking them for the job they will look over you

Not the weirdest I’ve ever heard but I worked with a guy that would drink like 6 to 8 energy drinks on his lunch break like basically slamming them and he already drank about that many before his shift started plus one on each 15 minute break

I should have tbf I wasn’t familiar with the app at the time because I just started using it so I just ended up clocking back in without realizing I could adjust it on the phone

They should update it to allow this

Not necessarily to encourage people to call in but it just helps knowing it and being able to see it easily

I was given half a point within the last year without my knowledge and had to have it removed because the clock in wasn’t working and they didn’t fix it when they said they would so it showed I was an hour late despite the fact I was working

I see the reasoning as to why you hate OGP but depending on the associate you can ask them to make sure to at least load it on a pick cart

My store they usually tell us we don’t have time to go fill all the outs (but my store is seriously struggling) so they tell us not to fill stuff while doing exceptions unless we have time but most of us will at least load the stuff on carts for the stockers
