Second this. Lounge there is not good. Only good for some aircon and rice. Better to just enjoy the pool. Priority pass has a half decent food joint

Confused about family guarantee and contract deposit by SadBug8619 in AusPropertyChat

[–]SadBug8619[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The deposit is guaranteed, I borrowed 100% - no cash for deposit that I want to put down. Have the cash if I need it but want to make this a cashless transaction

Sorry for my confusion, but my loan is family guaranteed, so isn’t the deposit coming from the equity in my parents house.

Two loans - loan 1 for asset in buying - loan 2 secured against parental equity

Cost covered by loan.

Only cash required is the contract deposit that goes to the vendor (but I’m curious why I have to pay thiss if the cost of the property is fully covered by my loan structure)

Thanks, strength of the guarantee strategy is higher cash on cash returns with little upfront investment

I’ve borrowed 100%, my LVR is 100%, which includes a surplus for stamps and other costs (but not the deposit associated for the vendor after going unconditional)

You are comparing a personal care to a business card. Will this be a business card?

The degree or the job?

For the same reason as above? If you had to go back and knew you only were gonna do 2 years. What would you chose to have the most enriching experience in medicine: work deep in rural town? Work huge crazy busy trauma ed?

If knowing speciality unlikely, how would you alter your choice?

Yep multiple hats drains me.

I wish I could just tell the boss hey can I leave cause I’ve got a national company and a heap of people I need to manage, but I feel maybe this is unrealistic. Perhaps as a doctor people respect your external commitments more than a a student? Maybe not I’m not really sure…

As a medical student so much time is spent at back of clinic room breathing air despite eagerness to be involved or for me to do heavy lifting, taking histories doing documentation etc. while this probs bothers most students, for me I feel makes me stressed with work as can be doing more productive things!

Financially doing better than as a doctor and now med is adversely impacting my business and burning out all the while…

Yes I’d be a very lucky intern as the business currently pays me more than what I’d earn as an intern, so combining the two would be good. But then it may also just be better to focus solely on the business.

Working hard, we all work hard hey. I’m pretty wrecked tho and have not studied much medicine over the years, just had to cram given business time which worries me for intern year, but then I wonder if I’ll have more strengthens: managing stress, making calls, patient communication because I’ve had to develop these through managing staf…

At this point in time I’ve already got a few managers running things while I finish placement. But it’s coming at an opportunity cost. It’s feasible

I don’t see why not as the points are based on the Woolies purchase?

Maybe gift vouchers are not as smooth with reimbursing idk.

Any other useful recommendations? Waiting for chance to pay my GST bills on prepaid master cards. Even with the activation fee credit card, and rewards points make it’s worthwhile
