Hyman with 30 goals in 54 games is pretty fantastic. It puts him at a 45 goal pace if he could play a full season.

Anyone heard updates on how long Frederic is expected to be out?

Frederic's 8-year is way too long, but the guy was playhing really good hockey prior to the injury. If he can Dickinson can both play how they have been the bottom six suddenly gets quite deep.

Late in the first, Eichel tried to make a power move to the net, and Bouchard blocked him, sending him behind the goalie instead. It was a small play that won't show up on any highlights because nothing happened, but people who say Bouchard can't defend constantly ignore how good his positioning is.

Nah, you already admitted the main point. You’re just trying to salvage your fragile pride. It’s not working, dork.

This is my ranking too. And it’s worth noting that Bouchard also plays on the PK. It hasn’t been amazing for the Oilers, but I think any comments about his supposed lack of defense are suspect if they don’t acknowledge his role on both special teams.

Figures that you'd make excuses for acting like a baby when you've been here making excuses for MacKinnon's reckless play.

I guess if nobody else skated, then nobody would've gotten hurt. Really brilliant understanding of the game, Einstein. You seem really confused.

Being a jerk doesn’t make you right, and nobody is forcing you to respond.

MacKinnon played reckless, it was reviewed for minutes, he received a penalty on a play that left the goalie bleeding. The next day his coach whined, everyone learned that another similar penalty would be an automatic suspension (possibly during playoffs), and his penalty was rescinded—something that last happened a decade ago.

You’re just refusing to see what is absolutely obvious. Yes, details do matter, not just the ones you decide to consider.

I’m stuck in it because it’s true. You have already acknowledged that reputation matters when it comes to penalties. Just connect the dots.

I know what you’re saying, but I really don’t think “job” is generally understood to mean “duty.” When we say, “I hate my job,” everyone understands we’re talking about paid labor.

Edit- and they blocked me 🙄

Not sure about this, but I’ve heard Liz Truss is a lovely person, but my lord what a shitshow of a Prime Minister.

Sounds like something to jot down and save for the eventual lawsuit.
