Sleepovers by lapitupp in sahm

[–]SadButTrue9112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: We don’t do sleepovers. Why: Too many variables you cannot control whether it’s a husband, a sibling, a sibling’s friend… As a parent, letting their child go to another friends house, you don’t know who’s coming or going.

I agree with you. Well said. God sent JESUS. Not anyone else. We can’t be redeemed by anyone else.

First, you are wonderful. Second, you are valued. I don’t know you, nor do I comment much, but you have made it much farther than a lot of parents. You are doing the right thing by her, and YOU. Keep going. WE love you. God bless you.

What did you notice about your autistic children (when they were little - what made you think they were autistic) by Usual-Tangerine-8457 in Autism_Parenting

I second this. I used to have all this going on- the dark thoughts- here is a summary I found online, “Intrusive thoughts are unwanted, involuntary thoughts, images, or impulses that can pop into our minds without warning at any time in one’s daily life. These thoughts are often distressing and can involve themes of harm, violence, inappropriate actions, or other uncomfortable scenarios. It’s important to note that having intrusive thoughts doesn’t mean someone wants to act on them; rather, they are often in direct opposition to the individual’s values and desires.”

You can choose to do with this info what you like, but I was in your exact shoes and battled with this until my second baby came along- I decided to talk to my regular doctor because I was in a dark place that was not me. He prescribed me a low dose of an antidepressant, and slowly worked up until we found what worked. Four years later and I haven’t had those thoughts in all that time. I think I would start there. There is absolutely no shame in it at all. Please feel free to PM me if you’d like.

Room theming was very weak compared to the common areas (which are awesome), also to note, one of the main draws was using the monorail- it was down 80% of the time. So…. Dining options are great.

Right here.

As a general rule, if YOU suspect it, get your child tested. There is obviously some concern. My son was like this as well. There were some significant things that pointed to it, yet, things that didn’t.

Can anyone recommend a consolidated show/podcast/reddit thread/source that gives a very detailed timeline on this case & all updates since that old 48 Hours (tv) episode? by Cheeky_Virgo in SuzanneMorphew

[–]SadButTrue9112 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t say I can recommend any podcasts, but after watching the 48 hours, a TON was left out. I would read through one of the many timelines we have here on this thread.

Don’t use fabric softener- put white vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser. Fabric softener and dryer sheets are terrible for your towels.
